First time Gold Mining. Is this Gold Mine still payable?

- We’re running a small gold mining operation for a little while. This is a trial to see if the ground is productive enough to keep digging it. The ground type is cap rock, hard like cement and not easy on the machine and its operator Adrian. This is day 1 of our attempt to mine big gold (a 50 ouncer was found in this exact spot). I'm looking forward to be working at this gold mine for a bit.

Are you running the material you are moving with the backhoe through a wash plant for fine gold?
No I don't think that's the plan. We're on the mission to find a big one. If we can't find enough gold after about a week or so we'll have to concentrate on other projects.
I'm kinds thinking crushing the gravely and running it through a wet tromel and or a shaker bed.
@@texasslingleadsomtingwong8751 I was wondering exactly the same thing, Would it even be worth just dollying up the waste cap rock directly around the nuggets and panning by hand. I wonder if there's good gold still in the caprock that's not detectable that could add up to a gram or two for little effort. Thanks again for another great video Krissy. spray can with paint for digging targets or just put a bucket-----traffic cone on top of the targets... also should recheck the rocks with the first little bit of gold with the metal detector. ok you did recheck. congrats on the gold

I've never swung a detector in my life, but during this upload Kristen answered the most basic question that had (not that bothered) me guessing for the previous 1,000+ tector uploads... So thats the sweet spot!!??!?!?!? Anyone else thinking (shouting at the screen/monitor) ... it's there, right there, can't you see it?? lol..:D This handful/that handful is as close to your life as the UK gets..

Awesome awesome awesome, if you saw the bit of rock I bought home yesterday that was screaming at me you would think I have been over to WA. The battery on the 6000 didn't want to recharge and then I found a reset button on the charger and it has taken five hours to recharge, I am having a day off and now I have seen you and your rock I will go outside and crack open mine, everytime I see your video's it incourages me to keep going. Have an awesome Tuesday when you get back to mining and good luck, please get it all on video so you can share it with us.
