That’s so cool Matt, thank you. I saw that, how My pupster jumped up to come see me when I fell there, it melted my heart when I noticed and I felt bad that I didn’t go see him right away.😀
Dang the most ive seen paid for scrap steel was $260 a ton in Ca. A half dozen large boulders will make a ton of weight quick. I used to have a 160 acre placer claim with a small wood cabin built in the 1940's with 4 fold down bunks on the side wall and a whole wall stone fireplace opposite end from entrance door. The creek disappeared into the ground there at upper cabin and than creek reappears flowing out of mountain from a hidden rock mine shaft drove into a natural underground cave at opposite end of claim to extract the cave placers with a large 1865 built cabin with a buck stove across from the natural cave entrance up the mountain about 300 feet from where the creek reappears. Cave has a natural 15' ft high waterfall the creek drops off inside the cave and replenishes the creek of gold flowing out of mine shaft every spring from the natural cave where the creek flows inside the mountain. Only way to travel is horse, motorcycle, atv or on foot. A buddy of mine and myself would cut 12" or 18" oak fire wood when traveling back and forth on atv's between cabins over the weekend to bring home. He knew a mexican landscape gardener that would pay him a $150 a cord till he gets a 48' ft semi flatbed trailer fully loaded of cut oak wood than takes it to Los Angels where he sells it for $360 a cord. Paid for our expenses, steaks, beer, weed, gas and more every weekend and more than we earned in gold which was only paying $365/oz when i first got the claim 16 .5 years earlier. lol! Than the forestry moved in and turned both cabins into stacked piles of wood and left the bottom half of fireplace still standing when they was closing up and sealing off all of the old hardrock mine shafts in the Sierra Mountains of Ca. Now people see the rock fireplace and cement cabin floor and 1st thing comes to peoples mind is "Look an old relic gold miners cabin site from the gold rush to the area in 1865". Thats just what it looks like, and sort of strange thinking to myself "Yep and Im the Goldminer last using it goldmining whos cabin it USED to be because you never would think so ever the site looks so old but its not...cabins were only torn down in 2006 😩
more than acceptable and enjoyable quality of video here. i know you asked in your latest video and i left a message but this is what i meant, its perfect to me like that
That’s so cool to hear man thank you, I think it’s very possible to find small workable deposits all over the place. I saw a giant map of placer areas of Washington state when having coffee at a corner store between Port Angeles and Olympia, and there was so many placer creeks it blew my mind.
Go big or go home! Looks like the sky’s the limit Andy, thanks for letting us share in your success dawg! With current restrictions and the fact it’s winter in Alberta, your video was a much needed boost!!! Thanks again....

Lol exactly I did the same, I even froze it and zoomed in, it’s got the right sheen I just really said to myself I’m making a change of some kind to not miss these if they ever come by lol.
Wouldn’t it😜 they’re out there! They have to be, and when I’m sifting this much gravel in that area I should be trying for them lol I should add a water jet boiler box type thing
35 years ago I was working for a mining company and we hit a pocket that contained 250 ounces but gold was $285 an ounce at the time. Needless to say they went out of business because we couldn’t make the expenses but I learned a lot about gold mining that’s why I have a job now. But I still enjoy getting out there once in a while with my dryer washer. We don’t have creeks out here in the desert but I have a little hotspot I get about $90 a day in the gold. Any reason is a good reason to get out of the city.
Yeah dude! I love your videos! I hope to one day, be able to do some "small scale" mining exactly like you are doing! Like similar set up not too big or not too small. Would be totally awesome!!!!!

He gets up to come check on you., then you get up and run to the excavator and he's like, WHAT..., lol, Love it.
That’s so cool Matt, thank you.
I saw that, how My pupster jumped up to come see me when I fell there, it melted my heart when I noticed and I felt bad that I didn’t go see him right away.😀
Those boulders are worth 170 a ton here retail
Jeepers! That’s amazing I should look into that🙂
Dang the most ive seen paid for scrap steel was $260 a ton in Ca. Thats just what it looks like, and sort of strange thinking to myself "Yep and Im the Goldminer last using it goldmining whos cabin it USED to be because you never would think so ever the site looks so old but its not...cabins were only torn down in 2006 😩
What a great set up love the video
Those jewelry grade nuggets should bring a premium over the spot price.

Awesome, I am living my dream thru your Video's, so please give me a reason to continue too dream. Keep it up Andy....Love it!
That’s so cool to hear man thank you, I think it’s very possible to find small workable deposits all over the place. I saw a giant map of placer areas of Washington state when having coffee at a corner store between Port Angeles and Olympia, and there was so many placer creeks it blew my mind.
@@ANDYTHRAXX yes we have quite a few but able to do it with an excavator as almost near-zero
Go big or go home! Looks like the sky’s the limit Andy, thanks for letting us share in your success dawg! With current restrictions and the fact it’s winter in Alberta, your video was a much needed boost!!! Thanks again....
Gosh thank you so very much. Stay warm, a little snow is lovely!!
Way to gO Andy!! Some Real nice Ag and A Visit from Pauly!!! Can't beat that!! Good luck in the hunt!! How old is the pup? Happy Holidays!!! JJ
Yes! It’s always awesome when Pauly comes around, I love his input on the mining and he attracts gold lol.
Auto Dog turns 12 on Jan 01, 2021 he’s been out there with me his whole life 🏔🐕🙂
@@ANDYTHRAXX Cool! We have had 3 Goldens!! Our latest is a female named Marky. She has claimed us for 7 years! Lol Real smart girl. Take Care Andy and Good Luck!! JJ

@@ANDYTHRAXX LOL !!!!! but you got the money shot !!!!
@@Smithsgold lol just enough to make it work☺️
Speechless, absolutely amazing gold man. Job well done Andy. 👌👊
👊😝🏔⛏ thank you man! Were really hoping the deposits continue down the valley!
Glad to see u got the computer issue figured out.. was it bad?
12 hours with geek squad and we could not figure it out, I took a break and went nuts at it and some how got it man lol I don’t know, I feel vulnerable now hahaha
At 11:30 on the video is that a big gold nugget right after you toss that rock back in to wash it again?
Gosh! That caught my eye too, so golden looking too, I really hope it wasn’t because I never found it🙂
@@ANDYTHRAXX yeah it made me replay it 4 or 5 times :)
Lol exactly I did the same, I even froze it and zoomed in, it’s got the right sheen I just really said to myself I’m making a change of some kind to not miss these if they ever come by lol.
@@ANDYTHRAXX Yeah something that size would be a crazy find
Wouldn’t it😜 they’re out there! They have to be, and when I’m sifting this much gravel in that area I should be trying for them lol
I should add a water jet boiler box type thing
35 years ago I was working for a mining company and we hit a pocket that contained 250 ounces but gold was $285 an ounce at the time. Needless to say they went out of business because we couldn’t make the expenses but I learned a lot about gold mining that’s why I have a job now. But I still enjoy getting out there once in a while with my dryer washer. We don’t have creeks out here in the desert but I have a little hotspot I get about $90 a day in the gold. Any reason is a good reason to get out of the city.
That’s so cool!! Thanks very much for sharing. I think that’s what I looking for, a 250 ounce pocket would be insane.
🍻😀
As I sit in my office working this man is living the Dream.
Great video of some fabulous ground!
I really dig the support, Big Gold here we come😄
Awesome! Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas, thanks for popping by 🙂
Yeah dude! I love your videos! I hope to one day, be able to do some "small scale" mining exactly like you are doing! Like similar set up not too big or not too small. Would be totally awesome!!!!!
I really really hope you get to do that, feel free to shoot any questions anytime if you need a hand to make it happen.
@@ANDYTHRAXX i greatly appreciate it bro! I'll look for your email in your videos and shoot you a PM
