WC, Absolutely. I had a chance to sit and speak with him and his grandson last year. It was great to learn more about the Kidder family race history for an episode for our channel. We are looking forward to sharing that history .
@@SouthOmahaSpeed I found an 1948 Willy’s Cj2a Jeep as an project for me and my Father really cheap, needless to say he had it running with in one week and he fell in love with it,so for his 76th birthday I gave him the jeep
Gene Hitter's Mr. Tuff??? Probably another use if a cool car name...family raced 49 anglia and 55 bel air in So Illinois both named Mr Tuff in the early 60s. 55 won indy C Gas in 62 or 63
We did a video of Gene here on the channel. Search Gene Kidder and it should come up. His beautiful wife helped get him through . We did the video Abott 6 months before he passed …
I am an old timer Sowd Omaha boy. I never seen that car roaming the streets back in the 60's. Was it raced by the Kidders ? I seen a few 33' and 40's turned into stock cars back then. You have the ultimate gasser. Are you going to make it street legal, or a vintage racer?
