I wanted to do that in my bathroom but I’m not confident I can. So I got an intimate from a handyman I know and he wanted 400.00 for a portion smaller than what you did. I decided not to cause of the cost. I love that look . ❤❤
I know this is an older video, but almost all lumber sold in stores today is sold by what’s called “nominal dimensions”, meaning they will call it a 1 by 3, 2 by 4, 2 by 10, etc, but the dimensions are always 1/4” shy of those numbers in the cross section. If you get a 6 foot long 2 by 4, that should still be actually 6 feet long. Not sure I would know this either if I wasn’t in the construction industry. You’re doing great!
The accent wall is coming off so nicely. It’s always the before and afters how you said it blends in the wall and agree it def makes a difference for sure. Can’t wait to see the wall paper with the finishing touches. Happy me worst day! ❤️🤍💙🇺🇸

It looks great! Its weird that what the hardware store calls a 1x3 isnt actually that measurement. Its the same way with 2x4's and probably lots of others but now you know and your project turned out great!
