Great job. How do you deal with the end of wall, from the viewers perspective it would be the far left. I could be mistaken but it looked like the panel just ends at the wall where there’s no door molding, do you need to finish it off with something? Sorry I know I’m not explaining very well. Thanks
This looks absolutely gorgeous, Kavya! 😻 I love your clear explanations - you are such a good teacher! Mum says Better Homes and Gardens should hire you haha.
Hi Kavya, finally getting around to doing this in my office. I had a question on the baseboard. My baseboard has a classic colonial face to it. I see you installed the project baseboard right on top of the baseboard you had already in place. You think that would work even though I may have 2 different baseboard profiles? I don't want to remove my baseboard either. Thank you, Kavya.
I’m definitely gonna follow your diy of this idea. Thx so much for the info. Now I need to recruit my daughter to help so we can surprise her dad/my hubby.
Hi Richard! The wall lights are from Amazon Australia- Here's a link amzn.to/40FKGv0 We now have filament bulbs in them and they look quite stylish :) Hope that helps!
What a gorgeous completed project! Absolutely love the added lighting fixtures. Was gonna ask the same question about hard wire option but it was answered below, thank you. I will absolutely hit the subscribe button. I'm in the USA. I need to learn metrics any way ha ha. See you on your next project!
Wonderful video! I've given my carpenter a copy so she can create the same board and batten style you choose for my own bedroom. We did a board and batten wall in the dining room using MDF. It's lovely, but not quite the impact I was looking for since crown molding constrained the height of our boards to a very thin product. Lesson learned! In the bedroom, we'll use primed pine like you did to cover only about two-thirds of the wall to avoid the crown entirely. I've always hated our skirting boards so they will be replaced when the board and batten is installed. I can hardly wait to get started!
Please be consistent 🙏🏻😀
We love your videos ❤️
Missed you so much 😊💞

Can you tell me more about the black sconces? Did you hard wire them? I don’t see cords but you didn’t mention anything electrical work.

My base baked has a small detail that doesn’t let the bottom board lay flat. WhT do I do? Would i need to replace the baseboard completely??
