I was just beating on the rotor bolts so much I broke 2 impact bits! I never had this much trouble ever. Even hammering any rust out and spraying it down with Blast Off

All I have is my manual impact driver. Not in my shop so no air or even my cordless impact. I used a punch and tried beating out any rust then tried lubing em and still can't get em loose. In 20 years it's never had this much damn trouble even with a manual driver.

@@RBTheMechanic I just took my trusty, 30 year old Craftsman drill and a 1/4 bit and drilled em out in about 10 seconds. Only reason I was even trying to get them out intact in cause the customer was like "I want them back in, they have a purpose"! I explained they don't so I just waited for her to take a trip to the bank and I drilled em out. ✌️

    • @NickLukefahr

Probably. It comes farther out as the brake pads wear, so when you get new pads that are all the way back out, you have to push the piston back out to fit around them.
