STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN AND DOUBLE TROUBLE BAND AND KEYBOARDIST MY ALL TIME FAVORITE GUITARIST PLAYING EVER. HIS GUITAR PLAYING OUT OF THIS WORLD. WE LOST A TRUE BLUES GUITARIST LEGEND FOREVER STEVIE FOREVER.🤠💋🔥
@Good Citizen Well, my ears don't tell the same. I know the lyrics are just the same, but this "True Love is Gone" is a hundred times closer to SRV's Dirty Pool than to Marc's 8ball. The guitar technique SRV uses is unique
It has always been Dirty Pool since like 1975 when he used to play a 15min version at his shows in Austin. Once he paid Johnny Copeland his fee he then recorded it
@@darla71082 Well considering who Sam was I would say yes you hear it. To the trained ear you can here almost anyone from his time but even Sam was influenced by the greats and actually the same greats SRV was influenced by. Try this: Listen to SRV then Kenny Wayne Shepherd. Kenny was taught some things by SRV but he was young. At a point he became better as what he learned then his other influences came through. BB King was influenced by a sax player Louis Jordon which is why BB playes forward notation as if his guitar was a horn. now. SRV did three of Sams tunes and charted with them so sure. Remember it is easy to copy others styles but to apply them in other ways is harder than people think. "All your love" is magic sam song.
SENSATIONAL..always at the top of song and guitar..whether it's the blue's or rock n roll.Stevie Ray Vaughan has it together..This is legendary and never will be forgotten...What a Thanksgiving it would be if Stevie was still with us.
Incredible version today i saw the light again with Stevie,i used to heard the carneggie hall and montreaux versions, now i'll love this .thank you so much buddy
Ok, So the title of this song is Dirty Pool not True Love is Gone......lol Not sure why someone has not told you but if this is your fav might you at least know the name??? Just Curious
@@BurgerGrabber It was always called Dirty Pool, you can see that if you watch the 2 documentaries on him. Rise of a Texas Bluesman SRV, 1954-1983 and Lonestar SRV, 1984-1989. I don’t know why it’s not until 1990 because it goes all the way to his passing.
Oh so fluid how it rolls off his fingers. So sweet. God rest his soul. For he has touched mine
Mine too
It's an alternate version of Dirty pool. Love it!

My Soul says don't talk just feel it

I hear a mixture of "The Sky Is Cryin" mixed with bits of Texas flood-like playing and the early version of what we now know is Dirty Pool.
