- I had no clue where this would take me, how this would go or who I would even tell about this album but here we goo.
I was told this album would bring upon nothing but great things to my ears. But is it "Pop Perfection? We will find out though.

A short summary of Katy's other albums:
- one of the boys🍓: this album is very pop-rock focussed. Its her debut album with the hits of I Kissed A Girl & Hot N Cold. But this album has a lot of other gems to discover as well!
- MTV Unplugged 🎸: this is an acoustic session with some hits from One Of The Boys and a few other songs/covers.
- Prism 🌈: this album is also pop perfection. Kind of a more mature version of Teenage Dream.
- Witness 👁️: this one is more experimental. Musically she uses a lot of electronic influences. It is her most personal and vulnerable album yet. During this era she had the most intimate relationship with the katycats.
- Smile🤡: this is her latest album, turned 1 year a few days ago. After the electronics from witness, she went kinda back to the bubbly pop perfection from earlier, with some 80's sounds.
Honestly i recommend them all, but hey im a katycat for 7 years already so ofc I'd recommend them all haha. My personal fave is witness tho.

Just heard Halsey call this album “thee perfect pop album” that no one can beat in her new album interview lol. Totally agree with everyone who says it. I was obsessed with the teenage dream concert documentary they put out back in the day!

I'm still upset till this day that this album did not win a Grammy
I had to look up who won best pop album at the Grammys in 2011 and it was Lady Gaga's the Fame Monster. That's some tough competition.

Teenage Dream [album] is full of nostalgic hits! I absolutely can't wait to see you react to her Prism album!
I remember listening to this album when I was 13/14 and English is not my first language, so I didn’t understand that Peacock was about, well, that, so I passionately sang along. Then one day I decided to google all the lyrics and then it clicked and oh boy, I was soooo embarrassed and I could not play that song again, like this reaction video was the first time I’ve heard that in 10 years and wow did that just bring back memories 😅
LOL same, but to me, it was even weirder 😭 I used to listen to this whole album EVERY single time I traveled with my family so everyone used to sing it together without even knowing what we were singing 😂 great times
I was 11 when I first heard this song, I loved it sm, English isn’t my first language either, but I kinda did know what the song was about, anyway, I just sang the lyrics like it was nothing 😂😂 And now I like it even more bc I fully understand it and it’s a really fun song to me.

Teenage Dream, Firework, That One That Got Away are my favourite songs on the album. Overall, this album is iconic. It really takes me back to my high school days.

2nd comment. re: your comments on 'the one who got away' and being 25, not knowing what the future holds etc. - Im only 30 but one thing Ive learned is you are NEVER too old to wake up and decide to do something different and change your life. Doesnt matter if you're 18 or 60. Your path is never set, our true power lies in our ability to decide to take a step in a different direction and make a change. Your position in the journey is irrelevant, all that matters is the step. As long as you're taking steps, you're on the right path :)
Can u react to the deluxe tracks? I think wide awake and part of me are the best tracks from the album and also she has a rock pop album before this one (one of the boys) I love that rock sound from her and really waiting for more rock from her hahaha
