Fun fact: The whole, bees will die if they sting you, is because human skin is so thick that the bee’s stinger gets stuck but if they wanted to sting another animal or insect with thinner skin, they could sting as many times as they want
That actually makes a lot of sense.
The stings are barbed are they not? So they can't come out to easily
Honeybees have barbed stingers, wasps, bumblebees and hornets do not. That is why they can sting multiple times and honeybees cannot. The barbed stingers get stuck in the skin and the smooth stingers do not.
Fun fact: I think you mentioned how all the bee girls have the same hairstyle. That’s done on purpose because that hairstyle is called the Beehive and was popular in the 60s. Also showing how the screenwriters did not miss any details in this whimsical film 😁🐝
Bees can actually sometimes change their minds after stinging someone. Instead of flying away, which tears their stinger out and leaves them dying, they remain where they stung and will try and pull/wiggle the stinger out of you by walking kind of in a sideways circle around the sting point.

Too many people take it as Vanessa leaves Ken for Barry, I always thought she left him for his disregard for others and his self-centered attitude.
The writers really did not do their research for this movie🤣. Ex: Male bee's don't have stingers nor do they collect pollen, the female's do. There's your fun fact for the day😜

If you noticed the bear that came out in court id kinda like the bear in Over The Hegde which is dream works too. I totally recommend it. The cast is stacked!!!

Hi Billy, I was born in San Diego. Grew up in a military family. I was raised around the world. In 2007, I was 19. Ray Liotta was a real person. He was an actor and he passed away May 26, 2022. He was in ER and even in John Q with Denzel Washington where Denzel played a father whose son needed heart surgery. When they are in the court room and a bee says "you're a bad fella" that is a hint to the film Good Fellas which Ray Liotta was in. #Bingers Antz, The Swan Princess, and Step Up: High Water.
Ray Liotta he really looked like Kevin Conroy another talented actor who passed away on November 10th, 2022.

This is just my speculation but that Winnie the Pooh cameo where Pooh gets shot with a tranquilizer, I think it’s a diss towards Disney. Cause if you think about it, Jeffery Katzenberg (the CEO of Dreamworks) used to work for Disney, plus after he created Dreamworks, them and Disney have been at war with each other in the late 90s and 2000s.

Is the writing ridiculous much of the time? Yeah
Are most of the characters insane to varying degrees? Yup
But all that being said, I still enjoy it because I think it's hilarious. I get both ironic and unironic enjoyment out of most of the comedy. lmao

I also learned that bees don't fly at night and I saw a video showing the dude turning off the light in the chamber with the bees and they all just fell to the floor, but when he turns it on they're all back up again instantly flying.
I think it’s because bees sleep at night which is why they don’t fly at night and only daytime

Another great detail in the movie is the hairstyles of the bees! Male bees have “buzz” cuts and female bees have “beehives!”
Also that bear is the same bear from Over the Hedge , IDK how many people caught that but the kid i babysit has watched that movie daily for like 4 months.

Yes ray Liotta was a real person he is best known for his portal of Henry Hill in the movie Goodfellow, unfortunately he passed away in2022.
I couldn’t believe Billy didn’t know him. I first knew him from a movie he did with Whoopi Goldberg called “Corina Corina” that movie is part of my childhood. I did watch Goodfellas after his passing though. Made me even more sad.
Bees do not have lungs, therefore them coughing in here is not scientifically accurate. For another, all the smoke actually does is mask their sense of smell and trick them into thinking there's a fire, during which they eat their own honey to relax.
Another big thing here is that no self respecting beekeeper would ever use something like tar or nicotine in their smokers. It irritates bees something horrible. Best smoker fuel is all natural stuff like pine needles, dried citrus peel, and any dried herbs you can get your hands on.
They'd also never flood them with smoke like that either. If you're doing your job right, all you need is a few puffs, one when opening the box to let them know you're there, then a few more to do what you need to do.
If Barry was smart, he'd have sued the one farm for gross negligence.

I've never been stung by a bee I like bees. But once a wasp flew out of a bush, directly behind my glasses from the side.. freaked out that it got trapped there and stung me on the eyelid. It hurt a LOT. Fortunately i wasn't allergic 🤣
When I was little I used to think Ken was an asshole. But, the older you get, the more you realise he kind of has a good reason for being salty

I enjoyed Bee Movie a lot as a kid but looking back on it as an adult I now see that it’s weird, especially the relationship between Barry and Vanessa. I don’t know why I even thought it was cute as a child. But however I still praise the humor in this movie.

Rewatching this movie has made me feel genuinely bad for the absolute Chad Ken, like imagine if you lost your girl to a bee that couldn’t even talk, and then your girl is making it out for you to be the “villain” because you have a vendetta against this certain bee. Like if people were in his situation you know they would go to much worse circumstances.
The reason why farmed bees stay in the beehives that humans build for them is because the farm hives are safer and sturdier.
The bees are free to move away and build a new nest somewhere else any time they want, they simply choose not to.
This movie is nothing more than trying to copy the Chicken Run formula.
I remember watching this movie as a kid, it was nice and weird at the same time. But I'm glad you got the chance to also watch this movie to lol.:)

Definitely was created by a comedian. Jerry Sienfeld pitched it as a joke but the person he pitched it too liked the idea and it got made. It’s a film that has a lot to it that as an adult now I can see, so funny
