test rode a 101 in Chattanooga yesterday and it was absolutely amazing. I already own a scout rogue, but the 101 is so much better than that. harley is gonna lose to this thing all day.

The sport chief is the rival to the lowrider s, not the scout. Air cooled big displacement v twins. You cant compare liquid v air... Indian quite literally said the chief was directly aimed at the lowriders...
Sure, the Chief and Lowrider are extremely similar. That doesn't mean other cruisers shouldn't have comparison videos as well. Shoot, I've even seen a comparison video of a Sport Glide next to a Royal Enfield Super Meteor that had been outfitted with bags

I believe the Indian Scout 101 1250cc is most comparable with Harley Davidsons now obsolete V Rod 1250. By putting a Revolution engine in a Sportster was not the right move, it should be in its own frame, could look heaps better than the Sportster S and should have its own model designation. The Low Rider is a good machine, the Milwaukee 8 a brilliant power plant but I'd like to give the Scout 101 a good workout on the twisties and along a long straight.
Loved the look of the Indian at Motorcycle Live last year so went straight out to the dealer. First thing to do was change the pipes as the stock pipes sound like a hair dryer! The styling of this bike is fantastic but there is one major flaw....the rear suspension is simply awful especially when carrying a passenger. Having converted from a Harley I personally felt the built quality of the Indian was just not as good.
They did, it's called the Sportster S. The Sportster S actually has a better tech package and performance specs than the Scout 101 and it's cheaper on paper. However, the Scout 101 does have better styling, and the stock forward controls on the Sportster S are just stupid. It should have come with mids.
Whats going on with the front indicators up on the handlebars of the Harley, did they only realise at the last minute that they'd not fitted them? They look like cheap nasty add ons.

I’ll tell you from experience because I have both, Harley Davidson is like Darth Vader and Indian is more like Luke Skywalker. My Indian scout turns heads every time I’m out. My 2023 limited edition anniversary heritage softail doesn’t even get a second look. Go figure.
I would chose the new 2025 Indian 101 Indian Scout over the Harley-Davidson Low Rider S. And then I would use the money saved for custom pats, gasoline and fun. .
You can tell right away that they favored the Indian, they did better takes and close ups. I Will start saying that the Indian Scout competes against the Sportster S, both are water cooled. When you see an Indian on the street you think right away. OK a poor man's Indian.😊
Not at all... if the 101 is given the Challenger motor, then yes indeed. the mills need to be matched. if this AI was talking about Indian sport Chief then yes the Indian. compare the 101 scout to the "what-were they-thinking" Harley Sportster... then again Indian all the way. it takes more than mini fairings, better brakes and suspensions to make a comparison of two machines.
Take a look at the Sportster S comparison which is more of the correct category for the Scout. The Sportster S smokes that copy cat bike. Don't believe me go look for yourself.
