The pipes are for cooling purpose. It is called water cooling system. Water enters in the pipe from bottom and gets out from side. Otherwise the boat will heatup intensively as there are no ventilation ports.
Do you need a pump to circulate the water? I saw you have a component to connect the water in and out. What is that part? Can you provide a link to purchase?

He's using a 30$ motor and the Motor"S" on my miss Gico are more then a 100$ each. Most expensive parts are probably the battery. I'm gonna take his design to the next level. Really great video!

@@waioramin , if water enters through tail hole, it will create a jet force at the outlet, perpendicular to the movement. There is no contact between the pump and the motor and I will remind you that thermal conductivity of air is 0.022 W / K * m (27 times lower than wood!)

It's for cooling if you look on the rudder on the bottom there are two little holes when it goes fast the water goes inside the hole and goes through the tube to cool the motor

Nice build, built the Same design years ago only with a Hummingbird 20(MFA) brushed motor, no where near as fast as this baby....technology is wonderful thing......

Thats for ESC cooling. It picks up water from rudder, and went through ESC. Noticed that the ESC has 2 inlet outlet plug.

@@innalee7232 there is no pump in use anywhere in this boat. Thats the ESC (speed controller).
