mate, this is incredible fun to watch, i would never ever make it like this, but you found unique way to merge very high level tech and tools with long forgotten ideas and technics. I'd love to see it remote controlled by a smartphone and arduino, maybe even autonomous.Thumbs up, i like it and thanks to your video, can remember again how it was without CAD, CAM 3D printing etc. Just grab the tools, whatever you have on materials and go !

It would be cheaper to buy a RCBoat tahn build if you need to buy the tools you have to process all the metal and wood . But if you have it is so niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice to do it alone . It makes you proud of it in the end , even if you dont catch any fish :P

Have to agree. The splashing water up into the hull made me worried about the boat sinking. It doesn't have any safety foam in it or anything.

The two paddle/propeller...very good design because it can use to direct the ship direction and also aerated the pond oxygen. But you need to put a cover on the paddle so that water doesn't goes into the boat.

Next time, make the wood wet before bending it. Then after you have the right bend and have put the screws in it, use a blowdryer the keep that angle. Nicely build boat my friend.
