I think Nomura was experimenting with those eyes on Sora, to see how would he look and then forgot to completely delete it, but then again, why would he want to experiment those eyes on sora?

It's more likely from a deleted scene where he has those. After all KH3 was rushed as hell, even nomura had to admit it by remind release time, the skybox around kingdom hearts was wrong and the dub does not help the games case being complete.

This is what i think. Think back to kh1 where sora says, " ive been having these weird thoughts lately...like is any of this for real or not?" I believe at this moment Sora was already able to see into the future but dismissed them as dreams. When Sora obtained the power of awakening, it couldve activated this power even more. The MoM probably went to a time where Sora was young and gave him this power and erased his memories of meeting afterwards. The MoM probably was upset with himself that he could only see what Luxu was seeing and decided to use Sora as another vessel. Now lets go back to young xehanort. In dark road he was dreaming of the players death at the keyblade graveyard. But notice how it was still a happy memory. I think the MoM sensed that somehow that young xehanort was able to see in the past thus hence giving him a keyblade that is similar to the gazing eye.
So going with this fight. When the past and future collide, it usually doesnt end pretty. Its as if Sora and Xehanort are like magents that push against the other. By Xehanort being able to stop time, to stop at a good point, this triggers sora to see something bad that is about to happen.
What i am saying is that Sora and Xehanort are two sides of the same coin. Xehanort can see the past in a good light (ying), while Sora can only see a horrific future (yang).

It makes sense somehow, like sora never got a proper ceremony to get a key blade, in kh3 end who did give him a key blade? Xehanort, it's like a official ceremony however it was X-blade, but maybe gave him power to summon No name? And in future he makes a time paradox and return to the "beggining" seriously I think all the game is a time loop.

Nah The MoM is a new character with Yozora and from this story we know something is for-sought because of something that happened. The only thing that could happen is with as Xehanort say.. the org members that are part of the keyboard legacy, Yozora being part of that legacy.
But you don't need a ceremony to be able to wield a keyblade, the keyblade can choose it's wielder.

Sora didn’t get a ceremony, but the fact that ventus wielded one gave Sora that power to also wield one. Then the whole scene with riku happened and by the power of his heart gave him that power back and by learning how to use it on his own grew with him. Just like how Kairi got a keyblade by her touching Aquas keyblade and the necklace
If this is something Nomura purposely put in, it makes Sora being the MOM theory more probable.

The only plausible technological explanations I can think of are a few things:
1. Texture animation/blending
Square Enix is notorious for using texture animations for the KH series to make low resource intensive facial animations (remember when Sora met Yuffie in KH1? Yeah, that shit). Given that KH3 is using a powerful engine, it is possible that SE moved to using a technique that blends two or more textures and somehow both Sora's eye texture and another texture holding the gazing eye image could be being called.
2. UV manipulation
UV refers to mapping specific parts of a 3D model to a 2D texture. When a model's UVs are changed, it can cause a stretching effect on the corresponding area of the model. There's already a very thin ring of light blue in Sora's original eye texture, and, when paired with UV manipulation, could be causing the light blue of the gazing eye effect that we are seeing.
3. Mesh manipulation/animation
Instead of changing the UV mapping, the mesh itself is being changed and produces an effect visually similar to UV manipulation.
Ok so I came up with a theory if Sora is indeed the Master of Masters. So at some point in a near future, Sora ends up in the distant past and loses all of his memories including his name and comes up with a new name (let's say Superbia because why not?). Anyway Sora/Superbia makes new friends but because of the Keyblade War he loses all of his friends and he's devastated but because he was the only survivor, he gains the gazing eyes which give him the knowledge of everything, he even remembers his true name, Riku, Kairi, etc. But because of what Sora has been through, he becomes a complete different person. Now you probably wondering, does Luxu/Xigbar knows that Sora is the Master and the answer is no. Sora never revealed his face to any of his students or anyone, however (if the Master shows up in Melody of Memory), he decides to show his face to Kairi, because even though he's a changed man, he still cares about Kairi.
Or maybe it is the other way around MoM created another him just like Xehanort did, only he used a method more in lines like what Luxu did. An offshoot of someone not even his own being and yet he was able to give rise to so much more, maybe that was part of the plan.
I love this theory.
This reminds me of season 3 of the flash tv show where they had a version of him as the bad guy.

Edit: While the Gazing eye is most likely a placeholder texture for the crying eyes it’s certainly lends credence to the theory that MoM is a future version of Sora.
Why would it be? You make no sense, why would a KEYBLADE be a placeholder for eyes, those eyes are stuck to it's design.

@@trial_with_an_error9687 Just because there are eyes on the no name doesn't mean they are programmed to be actual eyes. Why would the game use that has a place holder? The crying eye texture and the gazing eye texture has no reason of being mixed. The gazing eye might as well be stuck to the keybalde and not have a separate texture for it in kh 3.
Sora's eyes look like a mixture of both crying and the gazing eye mixed with some refining done on it to be just a glitch, it most likely has a in game model of it own.
Those eyes might be for some different character and got attached to sora cause of a glitch or they might be attached to sora's model to be used in a cut plotline.
If these eyes are a place holder for eyes texture that would mean it's separate from no the keyblade and either for sora or someone else.

Do you remember when kairi told Sora "Sora, don't ever change", in kingdom hearts 1. If Sora is master of masters or is related to him, now we know that kairi's line accidentally foreshadowed a catastrophic transformation to Sora, in the distant future. And you know Nomura loves, characters turned evil, or possessed characters. Aqua being a prime example in kingdom hearts 3

What came to mind for me was I pictured Nomura or another developer cackling at our confusion.
The MoM did tell Luxu that the Keyblade War was going on since he was a child and the Darkness looked like them.
Two things here: He could be referring to the black coats they were wearing or the fact that they were the Thirteen Darknesses that were real people with Xehanort's heart inside of them.
This adds even more credence to the Sora is the MoM theory to me. It would explain how he knew Xehanort would outgrow his coat and why he agreed that the world needed him because he had already experienced Xehanort accepting defeat and him passing the X-Blade onto him.
Sora also learns how to completely transcend time and utterly break the rules of time travel as we know them in Re:MIND with the Power of Waking.
I also found it very peculiar that in Re:MIND, they mention how they wanted the 13th vessel to be specifically linked to Sora, why? As they pointed out in DDD, he was not meant to receive the Keyblade and wasn't really anything special, just a placeholder for Riku since he fell to Darkness. I can understand how they may have wanted to take Sora as the 13th in the beginning as a way to strike back at the Lights but ever since they mentioned it again in Re:MIND I haven't been able to stop wondering if Xehanort chose him because he knows who he will become. He does know the MoM's true identity after all.
MoM also told Luxu that he didn't have a master when he was young. It's interesting because Sora didn't have one either. In KH1 he saved the world without having any guidance from a master. Even later on, Yensid and Mickey don't really train him properly either.
I think it'd be cool if the keyblade war MoM spoke about was the war in KH3. It would make it a time loop situation.
It would explain how the MoM could have planned for the breaking of the timeline while still knowing Darkness would win first. "Thus Darkness prevail, and the light expire" when it was Fate that brought Sora and Yozora together, something only possible by Sora performing his natural taboo with the Power of Waking.

I don't want that either. But I'm 99% sure that this is a glitch. I tried it myself and when I stopped my recording once, Sora's right eye was without a pupil and the left eye was still the gazing eye. If that were wanted, both should have changed back at the same time. That's why Sora sometimes looks angry because he is still there in his attacks animation and when he smiles he is already in selfie mode. I really don't think that is wanted. But it's still scary.😅

Well it's a data version of Sora, but even though a data version of Sora IS still Sora. This "glitch" or whatever makes sense canon wise. Sora uses the ability to travel back in time, thus learning the events of that time's future. Let me explain, Sora goes into his past, but he knows the outcome of his friend's futures. Which could theoretical be an instance of the gazing eye, rewriting the future or shaping/molding it to the way Sora seems fit. What I wanna know is what happens in the original time-line where the Organization wins the Keyblade War? Do they destroy the universe or do they do something else? Maybe the organization brings back Sora's heart via Young Xehanort since he has the ability to traverse hearts like Sora does, evidence by Terranort and YX appearing to Sora after you fight the reaper, he does this because the Book of Prophecies says that he would bring Sora back from the dead. Maybe MoM is Sora who has opened his heart all the way to darkness after being brought back from the dead in a future where it's just complete darkness? Him being able to get sent back and forward in time isn't his ability but is YX passing it to Sora like what Ansem SOD did for YX. Maybe this is how how the MoM was able to get to time period of UX also you ask why they would send him there? To write the events of the KB War and the events of the games in the Book of Prophecies. Now why would MoM or Dark Sora want to meet Xehanort, well he would want to do this to tell him his future and guide him on the "Dark Road". Telling him to not be afraid of the Dark and telling him he would control it instead. The fact MoM only tells Xehanort about the future means that there is a connection between them, without YX's power MoM wouldn't have power and vice versa. Basically KH is in a huge time-loop in the original time-line but not in Sora's new time-line were he went back in time twice. Long theory but I'm just having fun the end of the day.
Knowing Nomura, I wouldn't be surprised if this was hidden for the plot lol
I’ll do you one better HMK. Let say it’s plausible that the Master of Masters is an older Sora, it would explain why the crown symbol that is Sora’s Necklace is such a key symbol in the game. From whenever Sora is unlocking a doorway in kh2 PLUS SAVING KAIRI IN RE:MIND to even Xehanort’s FIRST ARMOR having the crown in full circumference on the helmet. Like why is it that particular symbol is seen canonically in game outside from just being Sora’s Necklace? Cause if MoM is Sora, it would make sense for that crown symbol to have such prevalence due to the MoM’s influence in the past, Full circle back to young Sora/MoM in current time! Oh yea I’m ready for Nomura’s next move!
If it is an easter egg, it is a pretty damn good one, considering it is something that happens during a literal time manipulation attack that doesn't interrupt your ability to use the camera.
Though if it is just a glitch, I can see how the bloodshot part of it is caused by the red effects that comes from young xehanort when starting the desperation move.

That's crazy. I was just asking myself if the Master of Masters is a far future Sora.
It's hard to see this as anything other than a glitch with huge implications, the way it happens, it's definitely a glitch but as you say how does the game know specifically when to trigger that exact change at that exact moment? I'm thinking they maybe had something planned where you have like a different mini sort of cutscene for YX's DM where sora gets the eyes like that for some reason, and I'd understand why they'd remove it because the master of masters is one of the biggest mysteries in the series right now and to have that happen in the fight like that would just make it waaaay too obvious what they're hinting at, so I'm thinking for some reason the game essentially goes "alright time to load in this- OH SHIT NO".

that's Sora's Texture, that's on porpuse, when you create a character model and add a texture or effect is only for that character, I think is a glitch but that is part of sora, unless the gazing eye is using the model of Sora's eyes...?

I agree with that idea. It is another naruto analogy. In Naruto, naruto has the chakra of his ancestor transmigrated into him. Sora could have a similar thing happen to him. Maybe not the Master of Master's soul, but some portion of the Master of Master's powers

Gats T it could be a base shade. For example
The eye is to be rendered blue. First you create a pretty basic blue eye as a base. Then you add the second layer of shading/details on top of it to make it look lighter/brighter and more detailed.
Just my guess though.

If we're talking about eyes I have a theory, could Marluxia be Sora's dad? I have done some research however not enough to back this up but looking at the eyes of members from organization 13 every one of them had yellow eyes even Marluxia. I found an image of Marluxia where he says: "Here in this world of nothingness!" in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories Marluxia has the same exact eyes that sora does, the blue eyes but with a circle pupil. In any other kingdom hearts game he has the same yellow eyes. Everyone else has the same colored eyes except for Axel. Axel's eyes are a hint of green and yellow as if he retains some of his characteristics of his previous life as "Lea" which is why he is able to switch sides and have emotion unlike the rest of the organization. Thinking back to Kingdom Hearts 1 I remember that Sora looked at an image of Hallow Bashtion now known as it's former name, "Radiant Garden". Sora says that he can't help but remember that place so it's possible Marluxia and Sora are connected through a deeper means (they have the same eyes but that doesn't mean anything lol) or Sora could have some of the memories of the Master of Masters. It's also possible that Sora is from Hallow Bashtion as well because of the fact that Young Xehanort lost his memory and ended up under the protection of "Diz" or "Ansem The Wise" Kingdom Hearts can get confusing so I could have just remembered things out of order! Haha, sorry if this doesn't make any sense this is my first time actually thinking about the game and a theory for it
I want to lay some points that may be interesting: 1) It may be hard to discover without the proper tools but does this glitch also affects YX in some extend?; 2) When YX activates his DM the center of the clock also looks like a bloodshot (hard to notice but its there) blue eye, and maybe its part of the reason why it happens when you do such glitch; 3) The iris changing is the most hard to tell why it happened, but it might be related to the fact that (I think) the No Name/MoM eye may being classified as an actual eye in the game code, as the clock's eye might be a version/variation of MoM's.
What all that relates to is the following: by popping the gummyphone when the DM starts, for some reason the glitch in the data of KH3 happens, making the game assume that it needs to render the bloodshot and MoM eyes, since they're part of the DM, and after some seconds the game understand that's not Soras eyes, and replaces them back to the correct one.
That or Nomura made it as an easter egg for what it'll come (just pointing that's data Sora against data Org in Remind, so not sure if the "seeing the future" thing os applies in this context)
This is just a guess but I'm getting a gut feeling that Sora is the Master of Masters.
My theory is the only way Sora could beat young xehanort who can control time, is if he used the gazing eye to see where he would launch his attack from when he creates that time bubble attack. I think this secret is deliberate as it also exposes that sora himself is tied to the gazing eye and also the book of prophecies. This is definitely not a glitch.
This is an interesting theory but ever since your video with the crying/smiling Terra in the thumbnail I can never watch that scene the same way again, thanks for that 😂

So, as some people theorize, Sora is the Master of Masters. When his eyes were bloodshot, he was time traveling. And when he was time traveling, he was the Master of Masters. Does anybody remember that Sora can time travel?
Just rewatched this video for the 3rd time and just caught the Sora corpse theory part😄 now to look that one up to see what its about
I personally don't even think it's a big deal. Like it's more likely just a glitch. I mean the most we can probably think is that Sora was close the being a 13th seeker of darkness
The big deal is that for the game to randomly pull that specific eye switching glitch on Sora it would be virtually impossible, unless the developers were doing something specific with the code. It's not just any kind of eye switch, it's a switch to the eyes the master of masters has on his blade. Put it all together and, it is virtually impossible for a random glitch to end up showing like this.

Ricaroo I’m personally a programmer and in school for video game programming almost done in a month with my degree but anyway with my personal experience you’re both right glitches or random code can sometimes cause this kind of stuff to happen but at the same time it could also be very specific because the glitch only happens if you go into the camera not if you’re watching his eyes without the camera. So long story short it’s probably them wanting to implement a cutscene or pull from a cutscene with bloodshot eyes = true and whatever they did with the eyes for code and used the art of the no name key blade eye by accident

With how each Foreteller is the opposite of they're named sin, and Sora had both Lion as his animal form, and has said things such as how he is happy to be part of something greater
Imagine if sora was the simili of luxu all this time for whatever reason, but the real question is: are the eyes appear when you fight the others boss battles?
so like you said, the bloodshot makes sense, it already exists in the game. it probably is a glitch and is some kind of layering issue; possibly the slow down effect and visuals yx does messes with it, and makes sora's eye textures flicker. BUT, if what im saying is true, that means the developers would have had to MAKE and IMPLEMENT these specific textures for sora's eyes. if that texture wasnt made for sora's eyes, i dont think it would show up so perfectly.
so that brings up the question, what kind of last minute cuts happened in the story? what could of possibly was supposed to happen in the story where sora gets these gazing eyes?
If the MoM turns out to be a older version of Sora...it would be very dark and tragic to see the cheerful Sora we grew up and love with; remove his eye to place it on the keyblade.... And knowing how Nomura works, I can't help but think is not a glitch...😢😰

They were also 12 other keybaldes with his eye. They are most likely a copy or a key blade can have a eye like thing on it as part of its aesthetic and MOM put his actual eye on the keybalde cause no one would suspect it to be real, just a creepy decoration.
@@-B4sh- Here's the problem. Riku and vanitas has the same outfit because xehenort or his heartless made them and secondly his keyblade can just be closer to no name because xehenort was used to no name.
Vanitas is a being made of darkness MOM says the human like being made of darkness existed before humans or in the past before him. Vanitas is the creator of unversed too and xehenort made him.

HMK peep this little detail that actually further supports the theory that Sora is the MoM:
I'm UX, we had a cutscene with the Master talking with Luxu about his past. He said when he was younger he was in a Keyblade War.
When Luxu asked if he fought people (or humans, depending on the translation), he said they weren't human, but looked like it (Nobodies).
This supports that when the Master was younger, he fought against Nobodies in a Keyblade war. And possibly, Sora used the PoW to go back in time to a version of himself (MoM) during the age of fairy tales to leave the book of prophecies.
And maybe Yozora "Saving Sora" means to prevent him from becoming the MoM.

I saw a clip of Sora's eyes a week ago and the first thing that stood out was the color of his eyes which was similar to the eyes on the nameless keyblade. I also began to think he was the MoM

Maybe it's like when savitar from the flash had to kill iris in order for Barry to become him and if sora as an adult is the master of masters then maybe he had to ruin his own past in order for the master of masters to have his future
My rational side wants to believe this a just another glitch we can't understand. If nature came errors, so do programs.
But the dark side of me love how creepy and meaningful this glitch can be. If Sora really is MOM somehow... Respect for people that called it so long ago.
And the fact is we don't know that MOM's goal is. Could be anyhting relative to Sora, Kairi, Xehanort or anybody else. And I love it.
HMK, do you ever interact with 13th Vessel? This glitch is exactly the kind of thing 13th Vessel could probably explain via code shenanigans and experimentation.
As for me, I suspect the glitch has something to do with code for Data Greeting overlapping with the code for the Gummiphone. Why that alters Sora's model, I have no idea.

I think that it's mostly a glitch. It is possible that Sora in some game in the near future is going to have these eyes and they are playing around with making it look nice. I can't really think of a reason that Sora having these eyes would be in the code otherwise. However I really know very little about how programing works. As far as I know these eyes could be something that could just be in the code for several characters. Still it is a very cool glitch.
As for Sora being the one having them and if that connects him to MoM. Well first off we don't really know what the different eye colors mean. Yellow/gold seems to have something to do with being overtaken with Darkness or Xehanort. We know it can't just be whatever is happening to Xehanort as both Aqua and Ansem the wise have them and they where never Norted. The cat eye that appears in a lot of weapons and is way closer to Riku's eyes in color seems to have something to do with MoM and maybe watching the future. These are the only eye colors that we can guess at a meaning though I have been making a list of character and there eye colors to see if I can see a pattern.
Secondly I don't really mind if Sora and MoM have a connection. Sora really has a connection with everyone so it is not hard to think he would have one with MoM as well. My personal theory is that MoM casted away at lest part of his Soul, or his ability to act on his desires. This is way MoM is unable to do very many actions and instead just talks to people. Sora as a bran-new-heart was able to act before he even had a body and saved Ventus from fading. When Sora turned into a heatless he had so much ability to act or Soul he was able to spilt the ability into at lest three pieces, His own heatless, Roxas, and Namine where all able to act and do things. Sure Roxas had a bit of trouble in the beginning but that was because of a lack of desire to do things rather then a lack of abilty to do things.
So yeah, I don't really think that the glitch means anything. It likely is something that is in Sora's code but it could be anything from a artist having fun, to something they will have in the future, to even something that is cut from the game all together. Overall I don't really like the theories that MoM is a Sora. I do thing there are a few ways they can make it work but I really don't want Sora to be doomed to become someone as evil as MoM seems to be.

The bloodshot eyes are actually a very subtle reference to Young Xehanort’s previous boss fights in BBS and DDD.
When you mentioned his relationship with the master of masters I think he might do something that he doesn't want to do. Like for example take the MOM life

I can totally see it happening that Sora turns villain, I feel like he'll be forced to give up something, but refuses, goes villain to keep it and maintain life forever as his time as the keyblade wielder. Like literally keep turning time back, reset everything, and do it over again. Forever.

This has me torn. on one hand, it looks like a Glitch but on the other hand, it just so happened to happen with Young Xehanort whose element is Time so it might not be a glitch and instead tells the future .........DAMN IT THIS FRANCHISE WELL BE THE DEATH OF ME LOL!!!!
For the record my theory/ speculations...Pride being the first and most deadly sin may have trigger the creation of the others. In other words ira, luxu and all the fore tellers having worn mask could have been part of the same bieng at one point. Just as xehanort created 13 darknesses mom may have split himself for a different reason. He made the keyblades and much like others we have to ask how these keyblades were formed? Remember that the keyblade could be made by the 7 lights in kh1.
We also know xehanort was able to seperate ventus and vanitas. He was also able to transfer his heart to terras. Also remember eraqus was able to reside in terra's heart even though both were ousted.
MoM could have originally seperated his heart into 7 vessel not based on light or dark but by virtues/sins. At the time 1 world existed so the keyblades each foreteller has is deprived from ones own notion. Hence why Axel was able to create the bond of flames. In this case each of the foretellers have keyblades with the gazing eye. This is actually the original sin of pride being manifested from the keyblade wielders. This is also why terra, young xehanort and so on can summon keyblades with the gazing eye. To further explain this theory... The reason master of masters dissapeared may have been him sending his counter part else where.
Master of master would be essentially pride and his counter part would be humility. Thus I suspect that seeing darkness would take form in ventus, master of masters put his essence in ventus before vanitas did. This could explain vanitas keyblade. This is actually why dispite having vanitas in his heart, ventus acts desperate when first met by xehanort.
Originally we are led to believe that vanitas took to much of ventus heart when in reality it was was an extras segment on MOM heart also escaping. But since its a segment that would meant it be about 1/14 of a heart. Ventus first goes to the station of awakening and is saved with what many believe is soras initial birth. The question that gets raised is if in fact the reason Sora is able to carry so many hearts inside him, due to the fact that he has basically a fraction of a heart? This is also why we only see his and kiari's heart escape in kh1 before he turns into a heartless. This being the reason Roxas has more of ventus's features... this is also why vanitus looked like sora. Due to him and a segment of MoMs heart escaping at the same time. You could even speculate further with this being the reason sora didnt have to collect all himself initially in order to get out of the final world. That is why eraqus new chess game pits him against the foretellers. Essentially he is the MoM.
