This game looks clean, but why won't fame companies give us what we really want. We all want metal gear 4 it's been locked to PlayStation 3 for 20 years now, that should of been the first remaster. We got this one in the #1 game collection 2 years ago

To be honest this game is more of a remaster than a remake. Not that’s a bad thing. I think it looks good. But they could’ve been honest. It seems like all they did was gave it a graphical upgrade and make the gameplay a little better.

I played a little of the beginning of the original and I'm so good at sneaking through here. I used to be terrible and get an alert and have to fight everyone.. but now I'm at the brick house fight and this fight always killed me so many times.. seems like I got through the beginning way too fast..

The more i see the remake of this masterpiece the more im disappointed. Its a real shame they barely put an effort here besides just improving the graphics. At least give us ground zero like animation. Remove the loading screens between these unchanged areas that ran on a console that came out in 2001. Using same voice acting from ps2 era is crazy work...this remake is a real shame.
Hard disagree. It's a faithful remake and I like that about it. I'd much rather have the original audio frankly. I think you underestimate how much work has gone into the assets and such tbh.

It's looks extremely similar to the Metal Gear Solid 5 engine. It even has the exact same sounds effects. They been recycling this system since ground Zeroes in 2013 😂😂

It’s the exact same game as the original, it just has graphical improvements, and the devs have stated that they did it entirely to keep the entire Kojima feel, if you say this is soulless you are essentially calling the original soulless when it comes to the gameplay as they are 1-1 Whatever you say about the graphics is your opinion though

That's a sorry way to look at it. Kojima tried to hand off the series to a different director many times, but was forced to come back due to people like you that insist on having anybody else taking over lol. This team is already proving to be more than capable of handling this remake. Especially with how safe they're going about making it. If they remade MGS1 or 2, _then_ they would have to make some changes to accommodate for the plot holes and retcons that Kojima had to make to keep the series running. For now, I'm keeping my criticisms focused on what we see until the game drops to judge it more directly.
