I thought these were awesome when I saw them on instagram, nice to be able to see them make now too! You really nailed the shape and style too, they look exactly like whisky barrels! Checks and cracks are a bummer but us woodturners are used to dealing with them. Nice turning friend, looking forward to the next one! Kyler
Cheers thank you. I just used a thin parting tool then used wire to burn the lines on. The groove from the parting tool gives the wire a guide so it doesent slip off 👍

No finish I just scorch it with the torch
