- We designed this boot with a fellow firefighter to achieve a mid-weight hybrid style boot to be both supportive and flexible for long hrs on a roll. Coined the Overtime boot, otherwise known as the O.T.
Enjoy a glimpse into the processes that go into making the O.T.. Each pair gets handcrafted right here in our PNW workshop with carefully selected materials to maintain its light and flexible build.

Can’t wait for my new JK’S to be done and show up at my house 🎉🎉🎉
I totally appreciate the workers here. But I would go nutz making boots. Awesome boot too.
Ordered a pair of these brown OT. Currently in transit and will be arriving to me Tuesday.
I find it very relaxing watching this guy make these boots. Great work, gents
Those are the exact ones I want.
Outstanding 🇬🇧🏴👍✨
Watching the craftsmen work, I'm wondering, how long does it take to get good at making boots?
Like, what's the training process? Do they start with scrap/bad leather to get a feel for it so they don't mess up the good leather?
exactly what I was thinking of myself.
They probably start as polishers and finishers before getting moved up into fabrication.
That's how jewelers work, anyway.
I just ordered mine, its like im watching them get made as we speak.
Just amazing stuff coming out of you guys. I am going to try to save up and convince my wife I need a pair. Just beautiful.
Can’t wait to get my OTs
Nice job 💚
Awesome
I like the combination of the stitchdown construction with the one-piece sole. Is the contact cement you use the same as commercially available or is it a spicier version available only to industry?
Man need my 2 pair of jk looking for composite Chelsea boot
Never knew I wanted to be a cobbler
Amazing work. Just wish there was a model that wasn't roughout.
Did they skip filming the skiving process or is that step left out? I thought it was critical as to not have too much thickness in seems?
The only question is “should I order OTs in bison or regular brown!” Or maybe black?…
Sell your firstborn and get all three.
Bison is the pimp choice
I'm either doing redwood or slate gray.... 🩶
Mine are being made right now. I keep watching this hoping they will arrive faster.
I’m curious, does anyone know what they are pounding into the inside with that stick of rebar towards the end of the process?🤙🏼
Just a total guess on my part, but perhaps the rebar is being used to blunt the pointy ends of all the nails/screws driven into the boot? Only thing I can think of anyway.
I just ordered a pair of these for myself as a rather self-indulgent Christmas present. I'm just thankful the pair I ordered were in stock! A Christmas miracle if you will lol.
Happy Holidays, and good luck with the boots!
@@DeagledSmeagol Congratulations! Merry Christmas. I dropped back by the Redding shop and chatted with Jared some more and he said he thought they might be shaping the arch a bit from the top.🤷🏻♂️ Either way, I’m pumped too. Glad they had your size. Enjoy!
I am also a shoemaker I have done a upper.
Do you ship to the uk
They ship internationally
Or you could title it how to make the most versatile and expensive boot in the world!! Most ordinary folk can't afford JK boots and thats no lie im not saying they are not worth it because the craftsmanship is second to none im only saying they are frig'in expensive as he-l!!
Do u have a job opportunities
👋👋👋👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Nick's vs jks?
They're both equally good. I'm a Nicks owner, but JK has two things going for them, fireproof thread is standard and shorter lead times at the moment, but you can get quick ship boots from Nicks.
