That came out great. I'm amazed at how many different iterations there are for minimalist wallets out there. It seems the designs are limited only by the crafter's imagination. I make wallets as well. Guess I need to start designing and stop buying other people's patterns.

You can also buy people’s patterns and then change them up to fit your needs. Patterns are a great place to start so the sizing is down and then you can take creative liberties with the design from there!

@@olivergoods I did buy a leather item from a thrift store, measured it's rough dimensions, then made mine larger, added pockets, and a strap. Wasn't an exact copy, and mine was unique. It came out great.

    Your work is awesome 👏
What grit sandpaper did you use?

I typically start with 250 on the sanding wheel. Then 400, 800, 1500, 2000, and then 3000 by hand in steps. Then I burnish with a slicker and tokenole

100% identical to Ryan James M2 on Little King Goods. Craftsmenship is good, just be original.

Thanks for even thinking my wallet is remotely close to the craftsmanship of Ryan's. This wallet is for sure based heavily on his design, however, it is not a 1-to-1 copy as his wallets are much bigger than mine as well as having a different pocket design on the non-cash side. Appreciate the feedback though.
