How do you dry your hair? My roots look so flat after drying.

Hi Heba! So glad I found your channel. My daughter and I have low porosity curly hair (hers is more extreme). Please can you tell me or make a video about detangling? She gets horrible knots and cries when I try to brush them out. I wet her hair and try detangling products and leave in creams. Still it hurts her and the leave in cream causes a sticky dry texture that tangles again. Also what should I do at night to keep her from waking up with crazy, frizzy tangled hair? Braids? A sleep bonnet? Love your beautiful curls. Thanks!! ❤

Awww hello! I’m glad you came across my video 💖 I might make a video about detangling in the future but in the meantime, I could give you some advice! I would start by trying to protect the hair when she sleeps by putting it in a high pineapple bun/ponytail very close to the hairline with a silk/satin scrunchie and sleep on a silk/satin pillowcase. I would recommend a bonnet along with those two if it doesn’t bother your daughter. When detangling on dry hair, I would recommend oiling the hair as you go section by section to make the detangling process easier as the oil helps unknot the knots. If you wet detangle, I recommend doing it in the shower with conditioner on. If you’re just doing daily detangling, I would recommend the oil method unless your daughter’s hair is very tangled and knotted, I would be very careful and be gentle by brushing from the very ends working your way up to the roots. Also make sure you’re using good detangling brushes like tangle teezer or unbrush detangling brush. Hope this helps! 💖
