The good things bout Amazfit is at least they let us choose between round or square design.. but of course I'm gonna choose round one bcos of the battery capacity

Apart from the durability, is the T-Rex 2 superior to the GTR 4? I read that the sensor in the GTR 4 is the updated one.

Could you please tell me if when you set "Event Reminders" they still show in the phone display in full (say 5-6 word text reminder) even when Bluetooth connection is off between phone and Amazfit? I'm looking to see if I can set reminders while the Amazfit is Bluetooth connected to phone and then show at later stages when disconnected from the phone. Thank you.

Already place order GTR4 to replace my old Amazfit Stratos 2 which is still functional. As a runner, I am most attracted by its super strong new GPS features which can easily beat most of the Garmin/Coros models and yet is cheaper
does amazfit auto sync workouts to Strava?
Did the watch arrive yet? How do you think about it's GPS and heart rate accuracy? I am using GTR2 (which a good watch but really bad GPS) but considering between GTR4 and Forerrunner 255.

I'll do as well, I still have an old Amazfit Bip it won't die, still accurate and all. I'll probably dump it to an older family member and get the GTR 4 as well. Amazfit products are amazing indeed. Back then the Bip performances were on par with watches over 3 times its price tag.
@@albustran4855 capture gps signal very fast. Heart rate to me is very accurate. I almost run every day. Now I even can play song while running as my gtr4 got speaker

I wouldn't waste your money unless you need a second watch...better yet if you have the round get the square, or vice versa, change up your rodrobe fashion...

I'm interested in the GTS4, but for the life of me, I can't find the official nylon/velcro band available to buy. It's like I HAVE to get the Autumn Brown edition if I want a velcro band. (I hate silicon bands.)

Nylon & leather are not ok for workout silicon is good for that.

Hey I great first impression was wondering about the sleep tracking how accurate is it and can you set alarms that vibrate so it can wake you up in the morning I have the original Samsung Galaxy Watch but it doesn't track anything anything anymore so really looking at the GTR 4 to replace my Samsung Galaxy watch the Only thing I am gonna miss from my Galaxy watch is it rotating ring on top of the watch that was such a good feature In my opinion

They have the same features. The only difference is that the GTR 4 is round and has a bigger battery

Well, is time to jump from 2 to 4, the GPS is better now, do you think that strap is ready for a run or the sillicon one is better for sport?
Both feel great though the nylon one fits more snug.

@@albustran4855 it's pretty great compared to the Stratos 3, because it was about 3 years old. I do wish they added external HRM to the GT line of watches. The Stratos had this feature. Other than that, the watch is great 👍

@@albustran4855 nope, everything seems good to me. I started with the first GTS, which has poor GPS and HR tracking, then I got the Stratos 3 which was a step up, and now I have the GTR 4 which is by far the best one for GPS and HR tracking. I would wait till you find a sale, they had a sale a couple of weeks ago and it was only $170. I paid full price for mine because I got it 1 week earlier. I'm a casual runner so I use it for my daily runs.
@@adrix9035 tks so much! I had really bad GPS accuracy with GTR2. Beside that, everything is still good.
Can you check if one of its buttons do some action while the training mode is currently running? 🤔
Like pause or stop the training when the button is pressed.

Does it has contactless payment feature? If not, any possibility in upcoming Pro model?
That is the only downside (personally) I see with this company, great watches but no NFC, be nice if they have this feature.

Hi . im intending to buy a smartwatch, but im confused whether i should buy gts 4 mini or gts 4, my wrist is 6 inch, its a quite skinny hand of mine, which watch do u suggest? will gts 4 look bad in a skinny wrist as mine or should i go with gts 4 mini. thanks and im eager to see your reply 😇
La diferencia entre ambos es solo 1mm
GTS4 and GTS4 differences is not only size (1 mm) but also bio trackers (worse in mini), pixel density (worse in mini)
More expensive than last year version by ~RM150; do compare with the previous.. Battery with full features & monitoring on only last up to 3 days max on the previous version..

These are really nice looking fitness trackers but until you can respond to notifications they're not smart watches.

Appreciate you can check 1. While in sport mode eg with GPS, how is the quality of Bluetooth connection playing music, stable? 2. Able to connect HR strap (3rd party eg Garmin) via Bluetooth? Thanks
to me, nylon strap is bad idea, it's easily get wet and take time to dry, and it may smell bad...

Please raise awareness about the lack of a savable custom countdown timer option. It's a shame and disgrace for a watch with a large built in storage to not be able to save a simple countdown timer. Absolutely useless for timed workout sets. As it is now we have to enter the custom timer every time we want to use it...
Even after so many years and technology upgrades, they still don't give a full sized keyboard to allow users reply to notifications. Im not crying for ECG and NFC but a keyboard for replying is a must in 2022-23 damnit.
It's just another fancy looking accurate fitness band which only shows notifications.
Having "even better" GPS implies that it was good before... It was not. Amazfit is known for their horrible GPS experience. Waiting minutes for it to connect and then dropping connection whenever. I hope they finally fixed it.

I have gts2 mini and never had problems, connects after maybe one minute and never loses connection.

Just don't bother buying any amazfit watch. Every time I went out for my run, agps took ages to start

Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 goes as low as rm500 and comes with Bluetooth calling. Yeah probably gonna charge it everyday but what makes Amazfit better? Tia
Battery life on amazift is better than galaxy watch 4..battery life itself is one of the most important things to consider before buying smartwatch for me...
Only battery life. Period.
Galaxy watch 4 claps any smartwatch (except Apple ofc) out there but must charge it everyday. Galaxy watch 4 is after all a true SMART watch unlike the rest majority of them are just fitness bands showing notifications only (since cannot reply to then using a keyboard).
Samsung Galaxy watch 4 44 once or twice a day charging depends GTS 4 once a week everything turned on that's the difference and I am a Samsung fan
god so many of the smartwatch reviewers are so dry and basic. idgaf about how to looks; thats subjective and anyone understands how they like the cosmetics of the watch instantly. Instead note the notable features, what makes it unique, how good is the tracking, how easy and rich is the UI and the phone app -- more important stuff like that. I come to youtube reviews not just to get the specs on the website re-read out to me, but so I can get an insightful and deep understanding of the watches features, abilities, and its pros and cons.
