The lyrics show that they are written by someone who truly understands depression -- not just being sad or down. The image of the grey rhino (charging at you) but you don't move, just staring with unfocused eyes. Sleeping at dawn. Saying you're ok but you're really not. Hoping that it doesn't consume you. Is it greedy for me to want to be happier? Those who have experienced depression know exactly what these mean. Thank you V and thank you BTS.

From someone who's battled depression, anxiety and suicidal ideation, I can relate to the sadness and pain that lingers in this song and the desire to move forward in the direction of happiness, even if it's a small step.
I just hope Tae is doing well now. He as well as BTS deserve nothing but happiness!
He wrote this song during quarantine. This was his feelings because no one was allowed to go out. He felt separated from everyone.

Even J-hope’s rap fits. But RM’s just doesn’t work for me. I’m definitely OT7, but I really think he needs to learn not to sound so aggressive in songs like this, and Life Goes On. This is V’s song, and I believe Yoongi really honors V’s style. Beautifully.

@@nadinedasuki8879 Then you don't even know how to google stuff properly because Blue & Grey is credited to 8 people, 4 of whom are BTS members: Tae who wrote the original draft of the song (presumably the base melody and the original lyrics) and the rapline who wrote their own parts. The other people who contributed to the song are Hiss Noise (one of BH's in-house producers, you should know him by now), Park Ji-soo, Levi, and Metaphor.
