great job covering your town! we were prospective home buyers out off of {ft.grant} road , did research and lots of folks were being dried up {water wells} from the out of state growers {texas i think came in and drilled deep wells and dried up lots of aquifers.. great town thanks much....
Hi, Kristofer. Thanks for the great video. It was really nice seeing your town. I like it. There is a lot more there than I realized. I'm glad you have places to hang out and people to be around when you need to get out of the four walls. Willcox sort of reminds me of El Paso Tx, because of the mountain range around it. I really love the mountains. I think they are special and look so nice with snow. I feel sure you were guided there since you like it so much. It's a great thing, since you didn't know much about it when you arrived. Bravo!!!
I enjoyed this thank you. I was amazed how flat the roads are and so spread out and someone must be looking after the headstones as they are so easy to read still. Thank you again for the journey.
Thank you so much for showing the town to us I'll be going through their March 3rd heading to Florida love to meet you when wife an I come through have a great day
Awesome video sweetie! Thanks for sharing your beautiful town with us. I love love love the old cemetery!!! I also love all the beautiful mountains in the area. 💖💜💖
Thank you for nice tour of Wilcox AZ! The downtown area looks interesting, the old train station sounds historical for sure. I wonder who maintains that cemetary and if any descendents of the people buried there visit and tend the graves. I look forward to seeing more of the Wilcox area.
Well I was born in Dallas and raised there til 4 and a half years old. I did have an accent and it is still there a little. 😁 Hope all is well with you.
There's an interesting story about that rail line that goes through Willcox up through the Old Pueblo (Tucson) up to Phoenix. I'm sure you've heard of the Gadsden Purchase. The US purchased the land south of the Gila River from Mexico. The reason for that was to have a southern route for railways. Mt. Graham to the north (and other mountainous areas) prevented railways from easily going through. So the land south of the mountains was purchased to accommodate rail traffic. Since rail traffic was established in the 1800's, when I-10 was planned it followed the old rail route which was already established.
I grew up in douglas az came in at age of 7 good place for school I guess lol but I like all cochise county bisbee ,vista,Willcox, elfrida, Tombstone, just a great place thank you bro
Have you been to Bisbee, about an hour and a half south of you? I think it looks really cool, would love to explore that place. I love to explore via google street view.
My Grandparents built and ran all three motels on Haskel in the 1960's with the help of my Dad. There was a need a need for lodging due to filming of western tv shows and movies in the Willcox area and NASA using the Playa for testing of Moon rover's. Dad also owned a bar and restaurant on Haskel.
Thanks for sharing a few of the local attractions, that old cemetery was cool , at first I was like, what cemetery, am used to green grass and contrasting stones. I very much liked the wild areas, reminded me of your franky camping days. Those mountains were cool, I think that mountain with the telescope is Mt. Graham is it not? When you first moved there, remember reading about the controversies over the $200 million Mount Graham International Observatory. Several world wide investors including the Vatican, which seemed odd to me that the vatican would be so one of the investors. The things that make me go hmmmmm? LOL,

Always try to film the supermarkets and other food markets, please. It's important to see where the food supply is and what options they have. ;)
