Like it or not I can tell this man is being honest about his experience with these clippers!!! get another psycho blade or Krazy blade and another faper blade because neither of them should be grabbing skin
100% honesty over here .. I’m using a babyliss 2.0 now works way better still not my go to but does line work very well . And for the faper blade I return the gamma cyborg clipper and got another XO clipper I love them and they’re way cheaper .. as far as the XO trimmer I love the over all build minus the blade system. Always hated that system since I experienced it through babyliss .. but that cyborg trimmer does work 🦾

Bro, this guy nailed it. I experienced the same issues with the TPOB trimmer. The teeth are too fine and catch into pores and hair follicles. The TPOB XO’s are an amazing set. They’re well balanced and have awesome ergonomics with all metal housing yet not heavy. They come with fast charging USB-C. They truly are a well made pair. The TPOB XO clippers are straight hitters. Super quiet and powerful. They don’t overheat even with extended use. Only thing I wish the XO had is a wider opening so to be able to blend from a closed 0 to an open 1 without the 1 guard, but if you have a 1/2 guard, which the clipper comes with, you’ll be fine. I agree with you, the trimmer needs a still blade that isn’t as fine so that it doesn’t snag in pores. If you change the still blade to a Babyliss blade that’s not as thin, the trimmers are hitters too. Excellent review!
You got it bro glad people agree with me because before I tried them for myself I couldn’t find one mention of this issue. For me if I could get a blade that cuts like the gamma cyborg or style craft saber trimmer blade for the TPOB XO trimmer it would be the ultimate set and absolutely kill the game.Their would be no point of buying any other set 🦾💈🚌
Couldn’t agree more. How flush does that DLC blade sit on the XO trimmer? Or would the SC Saber still blade fit on the XOs?
@scizzahands That's strange, iv literally never snagged anyone with my Psycho blade. Maybe the Krazy blade would work better for your style of cutting. But I have noticed the gold Psycho blade dose give me nicer lineups than the graphite one.
I changed the Psycho blade on my XO trimmers for the Babyliss Graphite 2.0 zero gapped and they are hitters with this blade.
Which one would you prefer the cyborg or the style craft flex?
Got the TPOB X trimmer today and tried it. It cut my neck pretty bad. I set the gap as far back as possible but it’s the comb/stationary blade that catches my skin. Will have to use the Wahl detailer until Gamma gets a new shipment of the Cyborg.
The X trimmer uses the same blade as the XO and that blade sucks. Irritates and cuts skin. Otherwise, I like the trimmer build.
Sounds like my experience is spot on .. amazing how before buying them and making this video I could not find not one person mention this. Everyone just saying they are amazing which is out right not the case. The build is amazing it’s sad that it uses the babyliss style blade system. Because it is literally the worst blade style in the game. I’ve used amazon Chinese trimmers that don’t grab like these. I switch the blade to the babyliss 2.0 and it’s much better but no where close to the gamma cyborg and style craft saber. And prior to this video I never used any of these brands. So this was a 100% non biased review. Still my go to gamma cyborg and TPOB xo clipper

Heard the onyx is nice .. I picked up a vgr003 seem to be an onyx clone I’m working on a comparison video against the xo right now
I tried it out of the box and thought it was zero gapped but when I adjusted it tighter of a zero gap it worked way better clean lines didn’t snag and sharp lines trimmer, so try to zero gap it cuz it snagged before I zero it
I appreciate it but I did zero gap it as much as I could .. anymore and it will start biting/ cutting ppl .. no issues since using the 2.0 blades but still doesn’t handle bulk well
The still faper blade on the cyborg clipper is ground sharper. All other faper blades dont snag the skin. You can swap the cutting blade with the cutting blade that comes with the faper blade, but it makes it louder. I just ust the cyborg only with gaurds on and it cuts like butter. It especially cuts good with the wahl grey half gaurd....sucks i cannot use it without gaurds but it definitely has its place.

Nice review bruh. I got the green XO set and experienced the same thing with the psycho blade out the box. I had to adjust it a tiny bit and now it’s amazing. The krazy blade might suit your style more (same as “digital gap”)

Hey i have the tpob x trimmer and black Psycho blade grab the Pure for sure. But the unicorn Psycho blade and gold one smoother and sharper try them im tell its the best blade tpob make.

On your cyborg clipper loosen both screws and make sure the guild blade is centered that quiet my clipper
I guess you didn’t finish the video. I returned the cyborg clipper they didn’t cut as well as the TPOB XO, the stationary blade teeth would catch on Peoples hair follicles and pores, I tried absolutely everything to get it quite including what you mentioned. To me they weren’t worth it being that the TPOB set is the same price as just the cyborg clipper. So I bought another XO clipper they cut great and stay quiet 🦾💈🚌

Yea TPOB Xo Pro Trimmer blade definitely jus ain’t good when it comes to bulk removal. But I put the goldfx blade on it and it’s became my hitter for the past 2 months.

Definitely try something othwr than the black psycho blades, tpob says himself that the other blades cut better because of the extra coatings on the blade. Try his "krazy" blade or the gold/rainbow psycho blades, they have none of the dlc coating and apparently cut better all-round
The coating won’t give a significant difference its is 100% the blade style … Babyliss has the same blade style and I absolutely hate them .. and of course the guy selling them is going to try everything to keep the sales going 🤷🏼♂️ just my personal opinion
Reason for the gamma cutting blade is for the heat, pro and cons keeps it cool or hot give or take sir.
If your talking about the gamma clipper idk what the reason for it is. I couldn’t keep them cutting good enough or quite enough to keep them. So bad I returned them. But I’m in love with the gamma cyborg trimmer
@@scizzahands thats the reason like its keeps the gamma cool with thin cutting blade, the wahl seniors that clipper gets hot cutting for a while but realistically every one has multiple clipper to prevent that. Have you used the babyliss lopro trimmer need some feed back cause I have that vader supreme trimmer and that thing sucks. I basically threw away 70$ bucks down the drain.
The psycho blade is NOT the same blade set. The cutting blade is different. Pretty sure it's the "one" blade.

100% but scratching skin is all on how you adjust the blade
Delay is normal bro...most of the brushless motor got delay
I disagree most clippers I have experience with that have delay are cheap amazon machines .. like I showed in the video the gamma do not while being brushless. So it’s proof it’s not brushless motors causing delay .. most new power tools are brushless and no delay. Also after so many times switching these on and off (not sure how many times) they will not cut on and you have to cut them off and then back on again to work. But other than that great clippers

@edounboxingofficial I get you but that doesn’t mean that it’s a brushless motor issue .. we have plenty of of electronics out with brushless motors that have no delay.. I’d say it’s a motherboard thing. I don’t want to say it’s an issue tho because it doesn’t effect the cut

A less costly similar trimmer is perhaps Lence Pro trimmer but not as value for money as Kemei km-i32S. Lence pro can fit other blades too. A review or comparison would be useful.
I’m working on vgr003 clipper vs TPOB xo clipper right now .. I’m completely turned off on the xo trimmer I’m not a fan of anything with the babyliss blade style .. I hardly use my xo trimmer .. I’m currently on the hunt for a budget trimmer that can compete with the gamma cyborg trimmer
@@scizzahands Cyborg plus gamma trimmer is overpriced. In budget trimmers, Lence pro trimmer could compete with cyborg trimmer but not as good for finishing. The VGR trimmers other models I heard pull hair especially around the neck. I will see if I could find another trimmer for you to review. Keep up the good work.
So before buying the cyborg trimmer I would have agreed over priced… but after using it for the past 4 months it cuts so well and im so satisfied with its performance that it has justified its price.. I have and reviewed the Kemei km-i32s they are ok at first but dont perform well long term and are under powered.. anything I use now must have a brushless motor
@scizzahands... Can't you put a Cyborg trimmer blade on the TPOB XO Trimmer since you are going to keep then anyway? They should fit some the Babyliss and CoCo blades for the TPOB.That way you have a matching trimmer to your XO clipper that you are keeping.

Yes the blades are to sharp or something I have the same problem with mines. If I could find a smooth blade like the corded andis t outliner chrome blade zero gaped to put on my xo trimmer than those will be flawless. Will maybe never have to buy another trimmer again
You are absolutely right! But unfortunately that trimmers platform is trapped to that blade style. I love the trimmers build out I hate the blade system.

Damn that is a bummer .. that’s what happen with everything babyliss blade I tried but this 2.0 is doing good but I would not attempt taking down bulk with it.

What type of problem is it having i noticed when zero gapping to much it doesn’t cut as well but if you find that sweet spot it’s a beast

When it arrived it was too much zero gaped I tried to move the blade back a bit but now it’s not as sharp

Yes the ones with the metal tabs.. I had to bend a couple of them to get them to snap on a little tighter then they fit perfect 🦾🚌💈

Loving the cyborg trimmers power and how smooth and quiet they cut.. I love the TPOB xo clipper but I keep hearing about the vgr003 I think I’m gonna have to check it out.. I will take a look at the Kemei trimmer but I’m experience with Kemei machines is that they are always ever weak and underpowered

I AGREE!!! I bought the VGR 003 and put a gold JRL FF2020C fade blade on it. I also zero gapped it. It's my FAVORITE clipper for sure. Trust me you won't be disappointed.

@M_Bison I have to completely disagree when it comes to the Troll.. any trimmer that uses that babyliss style blade systems is a no go for me.. babyliss was my worst experience with a trimmer and now the TPOB trimmer blade system gave me that same horrible experience.. if I would’ve known before purchasing I wouldn’t have waisted my time. We will see how the next TPOB trimmer is looking .. but if the blade system hasn’t changed I will completely pass on them no matter how much the green masked pissed of barber swears they are the best

The sabers and cyborgs are the same . Gave same motors and cut the exact same. Both metal . Cyborgs is much more heavy duty. But it has c charger . I got 1 saber. 3 cyborgs.
Also for anyone that like the babyliss style blades, the blue fx blades is the best ones . I still think they all suck tho I’ve tried them all.

Cyborg trimmer top tier. I have 3 of em. One of em which is the greatest setup is the cyborg trimmer with small precision blade. Shit is crack. Word .
The cyborg clipper, I like it, I took off the clicks. I put the regular fade blade on it. But I hate it dnt have the c charger. And the torque ain’t as good as I thought.
And I have one babyliss fx clipper. It’s Koo. All the other babyliss shit sucks . Especially the trimmer blades. The bluefx trimmer blade so far is the best one but that still dnt mean it’s good.
Cop another cyborg trimmer fam and put that small precision blade.
I might just do the saber that comes with it since it’s cheaper than buying a cyborg and blade
