Final 2022 Giant Pumpkin Grow Journal part 6:Knowing when to call it quits

Things have not gone well for the Pumpkin Patch. Invasive elm tree roots are suffocating the plant, and there is no recovering from the damage already done.
On a bright side i show off the plant that i gave to my mom to grow, and it is thriving

My vine tips are all yellowing and dying, there's no recovery for them

I know it’s a bummer when you put so much into growing pumpkins and have a disappointing season. You just make corrections and hope it will work the following season.
