She really deserves a chance to live again!!
I bet Big Al would be interested in that Buick
👀😂 I sure am! Just seeing this video now!
@@bigalsbikeandauto would be interesting to see it on your channel 👍
@@yazanbaddawi9683 sure would!
Anyone else here remember "UXWBill" and his old cold forgotten buick?
Yes
yeah i used to watch the computer videos years ago
Yes! I remember watching him
Yesssssssss
Yesir definitely!
Early vid Randy: “I’m gonna buy something today.”
End of the video Randy: “I’m going home to do some other things.”
🤣🤣🤣
I was low key hoping he would save the old girl. But then I’m saying at least he is gonna buy something. I saw him looking at that white Buick, seeing only a minute left in the video and thinking NOOOOOOOO NOT THIS ONE
Get that Buick! Put her back on the road!
Oh man give that buick a shot.
Randy you need to purchase the Buick Electra…when’s the last time you saw one? If the dash is not cracked and/or warped to heck it’s worth being saved. Those are awesome vehicles.
Yes, the "C" bodied Electras and Olds 98s are very nice cars with excellent 3800 engines.
Love that car!!
if it was last run with that shredded tire the fuel pump is still good, probably just out of gas
It coulda been towed with a wrecker and poped welling towing down the road
Wow what a collection of non-runners. You certainly do show the good with the bad and that's another reason why I like this channel.
The Buick is fuel injected. There's no need to pump to accelerator. It wont start either because there's no fuel or a fuel supply / no spark issue
I really enjoy watching your videos! I get to see nice cars, experience the restoration of vehicles you purchase including any fixes, fails and success stories!
Thanks for watching!
The electra is in really good condition. You are right about no profit.😀🇨🇦
I just got one of these under 70,000 miles on it and in love with this vehicle!
Should still buy the Electra, you need to find a dealer to work with so you have other avenues for higher sales.
I'm English and love your Channel. I also have CF, which unfortunately lands me in Hospital for weeks every year. As someone who's never smoked (albeit Passively) it saddens me when I see people who have come into hospital with smoking related illnesses.
Randy I love those moments when you say I’m not gonna get into it but then you get into it. I love those conversations. if monkeywrench Mike was there, he would definitely get into it as well 👌💪🙏🔥💯
Hay buddy good to see you again good luck
Im being blessed with the videosssss
I would love a LeSabre T-Type in black of that era. Put an L67 powertrain in it, a couple of suspension & brake improvements and drive it
Great car and video, deserves too live again😃👍
I would LOVE this car, my mom daily drove one when I was a kid. It moved her and us 5 boys from Flint Michigan to NJ back in 2002-03
always thumps up for Sir. Randy you the man , we all love you
Is this the same Buick as the one from a few videos ago
I love those old Buicks
My Grandma had a blue one when I was a kid and I loved the pillowtop cushy seats and floating down the road...
Feel better, Cool Buick 😀
Check the coil pack..... notoriously crappy coil packs and ign modules under it go bad ALL the time. When u replace the module put some di-electric grease on the metal part of the module
Still a nice try. Thanks for the bonus.
That was similar to the Sedan DeVille and I'm pretty sure that had the electric trunk soft-close so if there's no battery that's probably why they had to tie the trunk lid down because once they opened it with the key they couldn't get it to close again without power. Even with the 3800 the Electra version of the Park Avenue suffered from many of the same issues that the other GM cars had which was a garbage electrical system
Randy that Buick Electra is a steal of a deal. You could buy it and replace the tires and fuel pump, give it a good wash, and a macco paint job. Someone out there will buy it in an auction when you determine it’s time to sell it. The rarity of this car would definitely attract potential buyers.
Hopefully someone will give that Electra a second chance.
I enjoyed today's upload, and a great reminder why you should do all you can, to check out a car in person. Three very temping cars today, but imagine if you payed out your hard earned money for one of those.
I have a 1988 Buick Electra Park avenue and she runs tip top everything on the car works I wouldn't trade it for nothing in the world she has 185,000 mi on it and she hasn't even been broken yet with the 3800 V6 runs great
From experience with my 93 park avanue. The electric trunk release likes to jam. With a balled up fist using the bottom of your curled pinky and palm hit the black box located on the trunk lid next to the lock yoy will hear the gears release and the latch will reset.......it sounds stupid but works
LOL good buy, i love these cars too. i had a rental in 1986 or so i believe with the 3800, it will fry the front tires off lol
Happy Thanksgiving randy hope its a good one
She reminds me of the Old, Cold, Forgotton Buick.
Yayyyy Jessica is helping 🤘🏽
That's to bad about the Electra. It could have been a really great car and all it would of needed was a new tire. It could have lots more miles left on it as well.
I would have loved to have seen him pick that one up, get it running again and get a paint job on it. That could have been a very nice car. The interior was immaculate.
@@brian5o Yeah not many cars left like that. Also the interior is pretty nice.
That Buick should be more appreciated and profitable. Surely close to classic status now!
I liked that 89 Buick.
It has those cool seat belts on the door where you can latch it and open the door without unbuckling it,
Randy looooves his GM junk🙂🙂🙂🙂
I didn’t know that Buick hood opened that way.😎👍🇨🇦
So many awesome old cars on your channel in this yard...everyone in my part of Canada drives a crossover.
I agree! Gotta have priorities!
Hello Randy. The Buick Electra is nice and the other cars are awesome.
Okay, this will be interesting to see if it brings views. If so, I’ll start my 90s car channel. People tell me no one cares about 90s cars yet
I hoped someone would have saved that Buick. Probably my all-time favorite GM body cars. Includes the Olds Cutlass Ceira, Pontiac 6000, and others. If the fuel pump is or was bad, it can be changed in between the trunk and the back seat.
Question soo Copart allows you the bring your own jumper pack with you ?
Honestly, as a Buick guy myself. And a person who can also change out a fuel pump. I'd say it's a win if ya keep it. I'd keep it if you can
Randy, u forgot to check out that mustang behind the Camero!
great find congrats
I’m still trying to find the 22-way ultra seats from a 1989-1990 Cadillac firewood sixty special or Buick Electra park avenue ultra. Keep me in mind. I need both driver and passenger in navy
For $300 it's a complete car, if it was close to me and even if it had a blown engine I would take it in a heartbeat
That Buick would love out of this world with thin whitewalls
Hi Randy it's working I have got wondered what you've got can I tell you what that pretty good thank you for right person with skip alarm enjoy it
My parents smoke cigarettes & weed since they were 13 years old. Both in there late 60s still flat broke have nothing they live on friends couches but always have weed & cigarettes. I hate them both. Cool vid Randy
@Jason Sheppard good to hear. Mine not so much lol
That Buick reminded me so much of my first car an 86 Electra t-type, it was a piece of crap and I didn't change the oil and blew up the motor but man it was my piece of crap.
I know randy I'm just talking again man you all ways have been a winner I love you randy an your videos good job 👍👍
A perfect beater :)
The Park avenue didn't have load leveling suspension until 1991 refresh. 1991 was the first year and the 1991 Oldsmobile 98 Regency/ Regency Elite /LS had load leveling suspension as well, It was a option on the 1992-1999 Oldsmobile 88 Royale was on option /Royale LSS it was standard. It has a bad fuel pump and sending unit
That car cleaned up here in Peoria Il would bring 2995 here. Also the 1992-2005 Buick Lesabre/Lesabre Limited also had dynaride load leveling suspension as an option. These 3800 do not blow head gaskets unless some dumb ass overheated it. These mostly had upper and lower intake pletuim gaskets go bad If it is the Series II the problem could be the plastic intake. These 3800 Buck 231 CID V-6 do hardly ever blow head gaskets. You were thinking of the horrible 3.1L V6 and the 3.4 3400 V-6 were bad for head gaskets. The 3.3L GM 3300 V-6 was a shorter deck made from the 3800.
Actually my 1990 Olds 98 has load levelling.
Another great randy keep up the great job u do and p.s hope u get to feeling better
It might be brown on brown, but a 3800 buick is a safe bet for $300. I like the styling of these H body Electras.
Thanks
Hey I noticed that you took a video down yesterday funny thing is I was in the mix of watching that one stopped to look at the previous video two videos in one day that’s pretty cool hope you feel better dude
Correction: I found the other video but I’m almost positive that the video disappeared then reappeared
Can you buy some of these as personal vehicles not through your dealership and then try to sell on FB or CL? In Indiana I believe we can sell 11 or 12 a year.
Hi Randy
Ahhh berry fusion 😂😂
I used to love these cars
I'm so old, I remember riding my bike to the grocery store with $5 my father gave me to buy him a carton of Kools.
I would love to see a newer Buick Regal or lacrosse on the channel
Carry starter fluid or Carb Cleaner Should start I've Seen some 3.8 Engines over 400000 Miles
Randy that buick electra its a great car..
That's awesome :)
Buy it! Fuel pumps are cheap on those.
Sending love support and respect from Boston 🔥
I’d love to see more Japanese classic cars, I’m here in Australia where we don’t get to see many
I had one in high school 13 interior lights. A tough car totalled it twice
Sounds like fuel pump is not working, them old Electra's are great cars, other then the series 1 3800, hope it turns out to be a good runner for you, Liked, Fullview
hi Randy i was confused ..2 days or yesterday I was watching this previus uploaded vid ...the 94 boneville and regency....good gm cars... reminds me my cuttlas ciera that I had over 10 years ago
Still cool stuff
Check out the hood hinges on that car. Cool item indeed.
Hey I'm digging that old Buick I actually ran one of those in the derby one year but it was a Buick LeSabre picked it up for a hundred bucks the guy I bought it from his wife sideswiped the whole side of the car it had a bad starter cut the cat off of it turned it in for the money which paid for the new starter entered in the derby and somehow winning that derby with that car if you want to watch the video it's on my RUclips channel look up 2019 Clarke County Fair V6 class
Where I live in Texas the dealers buy these old cars and put them on Facebook Marketplace for higher than Kelley Blue Book private party prices. I saw a 92 LeSabre with a private party price of $1300 on Kelley on Facebook for $4500. They're almost all that high to buy. Randy needs a different marketing method like the local dealers here.
I have a 1988 Buick Electra Park avenue she has 180,000 mi on her and she runs like a top and is in mint condition
Win win
I'd of grabbed the Park Ave. Slap a paint job, fuel pump, tires, and standard maintenance on it and send it! They have come up a bit in price for good looking ones. That camaro had 0 oil pressure too btw if you didn't notice. Glad you stayed away from it!
Time for pull apart on that newer buick.
I want to know how come in the Buick those 3800s are good Motors but then the same 3800 in the Camaros have bad head gaskets and overheat I'm confused
He may have meant the Series II 3800s in that Camaro. Series II / 2nd version had some failures that the originals didn't have. I think GM fixed all that with the 3rd version. So original = good, 2nd version = some issues, 3rd version = good again.
I knew the Buick’s hoods opened like that. As a 6 year old. In 1996.
wacky tabacky LOL
So sad the Buick Electra did not fire 😟...love love the Electras! 👐👐🚗
Get the Deuce and a quarter Randy!
As I’m watching I said “bet they don’t know how to open it” lol
Pillow top seats great car Buick and 3800 motor
Vice Grip Garage would buy that Buick off of you
Randy rust in the coolant dos not mean its been overheated thats from the coolant gm runs after time thats what happen
U got more money then you do brains
And it sure is nice too!! Just built a $250K house, $30K in classic cars, and own my AAR HQ shop, land, and house outright. Guess I'm pretty smart after all huh?? #DERP
Win!
