@@Notabot101 true but there was one time specifically where time stop must have definitely been used. I think it was with the older D’arby brother. Jotaro moved a drink I believe without anyone perceiving it. Even with speed, the fact no one heard it move at all would hint towards time stop subconsciously being used because even DIO said at first he could only stop time for an instant. So I’d imagine the same applied to Jotaro and he just didn’t yet know it. Which would explain why he was able to stop time for 5 seconds in the DIO fight once he realized he had the ability

JJBA Part 3 is basically a team of stand user assassins trying to kill the Stardust Crusaders before they can get to Dio, so Jotaro has extensive experience dealing with assassins of varying skills and techniques (stands), so dealing with anything Toji can do with prep time is nothing new to Jotaro.
Dio's voice actor being the same as Toji's, I was surprised and nostalgic when I heard Toji and instantly recognised.

Toji is able to see Curses, something theoretically impossible if you don't have Cursed energy, thanks to the stupidly sharp senses he has, so I wonder if he would be able to see or at least perceive Stands
Nope. In JoJo you have to be a Stand User in order to see the Stand unless it is bound to a physical object. In Eyes of Heaven and All Star Battle, young Joseph couldn't even see or feel Star Platinum's presence even though we knew he would be a Stand User later down the line. But Toji will definitely know that Jotaro has some outside force defending him. Assuming Star Platinum doesn't kill him before that happens.

So basically it comes down to whether or not Toji can fight while blindfolded. If yes, then he can “see” the stand. If not, he’s cooked
@@blackpaisley5156 the reason Toji/maki can see stands is because they can feel the effect they’re having on the environment, so I could say pretty confidently (since stands can affect their environment and do so frequently) Toji could react to when and how a stand moves. Doesn’t mean star platinum doesn’t blitz, but Toji’s perception can almost definitely sense the effect of a stand’s presence and actions

One interesting thing that some people bring up is that (judging from Knockback etc.) Jotaro's Ora Ora barrages seem to consist of a bunch of weaker punches followed by one strong punch.
However, in the fights with DIO and High Priestess, we see he is able to maintain a barrage of strong punches powerful enough to leave deep holes in DIO's (mostly) vampire body and shatter High Priestess' teeth that are stronger than diamonds.
So I really do think he can keep both his strength and speed up during those barrages, which is terrifying as it basically turns him into a giant Faster-than-light blender.
Next do dio vs some other character that has the same VA as jotaro

Jjba light scalling is weird cause the universe clearly doesnt have relativity and people commonly see light someone gotta figure out the physics there.
Exactly the only characters who are confirmed light speed is Jotaro and anyone who is stated to be faster than him. Light is highly stylized in JoJo and many feats are just people misinterpreting single panels at times and using those signal panels to highball many characters even tho it makes no sense
Only thing i never see mentioned in jojo vs whomever is how smart the jojos actually are. They beat a sun, a reviving vampire, the ultimate life form, FIVE guys who can fuck with the fabric of time (and some space) itself (dio p3, pucci, kira, diavolo, valentine) and most by NOT sheer strength. And a whole host of other wacky ability enemies. So I can say in good faith that Jotaro especially would be able to figure out how to outsmart Toji.

The "Edo Tensei" version of Toji, the one who fight Dagon was able to easily dodge megumi lightning attack inside a building. From what I read that's the "Prime" toji.
I think that in the "Toji is going to assassinate Jotaro in secret" scenario, what likely would happen is:
Toji would get near enough (mixed with a crowd probably) and try a killing blow, Star Platinum would protect Jotaro even if he didn't perceived Toji and it would cut through SP's arm because of soul splitting katana, and Jotaro would react by stopping time and killing Toji in the 2s time, before more dmg can be done.
i don’t think sp’s arm gets cut through, nicked maybe but toji doesn’t swing fast enough to slice through before getting treated like those guys who overcharged big head in the mask

There's no way Toji's toothpick would go through Star Platinum. He was able to stay on par with Silver Chariot + Anubis, which are much faster than whatever Toji can come up with.

I find it funny how in part 6 Jotaro's timestop has been implied to have improved instead of downgrading even more as in the final battle,he tells anasui that aslong as he is able to catch his breathe to say "Za Warudo", he can constantly stop time to spot Pucci.

I think jotaro at the end of part 3 (technically his peak bro peaked in highschool but in a good way) vs toji at his peak (before he was nerfed when he got married) is a much closer fight (still a stomp)

These matchups are unfair, maybe if the speed stats are equalized to some extent. Otherwise they would get speedblitzed. Polnareff in particular has so many faster than light feats its unreal
Most Jojo characters simply speed blitz the FUCK out of jjk characters. Only good match up on this list is Jonathan vs Nanami, because Jonathan is arguably the slowest Joestar next to Joseph pre-stand (part 2)

i would add that let's say Toji gets that call and someone pays him to kill Jotaro, and they even warn toji that only a surprise attack would work. Toji only has one good chance, inverted spear of heaven imo just might negate time stop, i base that of the visuals where the time stop begins at his location (smthn like a global domain expansion). If toji has the katana that negates durability and inverted spear of heaven out at the same time he might just reach jotaro because his first reaction to a surprise attack will be to use his time stop and try to comprehend the threat, the shock of time stop not working might just be enough for Toji to get that first attack in and finish Jotaro. Let's be honest this scenario is quite Toji sided (he would need to know time stop exists) and a lot has to happen for it to work, but the one in a million chance is still there and it would be really interesting to see it play out.
if we lowballed jotaro, toji might stand a chance against part 4 jotaro. as an assassin who thoroughly plans, he would likely figure out that constantly using timestop and fighting for long in general will tire jotaro out. toji would likely use a similar strategy to what he used against gojo, sending numerous assassins one after another to exhaust jotaro and his timestops, and then jump in for the killing blow at an unexpected angle moments after Jotaro thinks the dust is settled. part 3 post-dio jotaro easily wipes the floor with toji though
also, I think its important to take in author intent. Toji would probably be in only the mach 4-6 range, and jotaro I think would at most be massively hypersonic. Polnareff was only able to defeat man in the mirror because he knew for a certainty there his stand would pass by, so he timed a slash to go along its path. its not even like polnareff could directly see the stand moving, and reacted to it, but that he planned for its only option of movement to be along the tip of his blade. This would contradict the FTL claims, and I think this would be accurate. Araki likes to incorporate his understanding of actual physics into JJBA, and it should be obvious to him that you cant see light, or in this case, lasers until it already touches you. This would mean that the beams that The Sun shot at Polnareff were not of light, but of some form of matter. also, when talking about the soulsplit katana against Jotaro, I think it would be notable to mention the stand Anubis, since it has shown to be able to cut through him and star platinum, functionally being very similar to how the soulsplit katana would perform.

The title for highballs belongs to island (dagon domain expansion) and 2.5c (Sukuna dodging Amber Beast Kashimo).
Also the Sukuna in the Shinjuku Showdown is by no means "full power", as he as taken a hit to his output through Yuji, and has still not recovered from the Gojo fight.
Also I respect that you didn't do JoJo MFTL and Mountain level so that JJK can fight somewhat fairly.
Overall the stats aren't close in terms of speed, so Jotaro would probably just toss Toji around.

What has Kashimo and Sukuna to do with Toji? Both of them are much faster than him.
(Also he could have just taken the official Mach 3 Statement where Gege stated that Awakend Maki is Mach 3 like he used unofficial scaling to scale Toji)

And the reason I scale Toji to Sukuna's speed is due to Maki who's able to keep pace with Sukuna and take multiple black flashes without getting cooked, and Maki scales directly to Toji.

I’ll say this. The Star/sun feat used in this video was pretty BS. Light and energy beams are highly stylized in manga. We also can’t tell the size of the sun stand and really grasp what it shot at the crusader. It could have just been simple beams of fire. Not full on beams from an actual star. Not even sure how you scale something so vauge. I really think it was just a stylized manga moment and powerscalers love blowing thins out of proportion.
