Dude, keep up the content. By far the top of my subscriptions right now. Picked up my taco as one of the first ones to hit the ground in SC. You need to line up some online codes with companies so we can give back to you a little while getting some new parts. Stoked to start my build off.
Hey Mark did you get rid of your mudguards? And if so are you worreid about rock scratches and damage? Also have you ever considered getting PPF Wrapped. Thanks dude great content
Im digging those red details in the back bumper and the ones in the front. Did you painted them parts or did you bought them like that. What's the color....
I think it's there to enhance ugly, the first mod I made was having it cut back to the axle and then adding a straight pipe welded on out of sight. It's a bit louder and deeper tone, so that's the name of that tune.
Doubt it, I think the 2024 Tacoma Trailhunter comes with this type of axle dump exhaust as stock. So people saying it's heating up components or fumes in cabin, I would think Toyota would consider this, I hope.
Any exhaust fume issues coming in the cab while in traffic? Also if you stay with the dump, come COMMIEFORNIA smog time just rebolt the stock muffler??
One thing that isn't mentioned is that it introduces a lot of drone at low rmp. You cant hear it too much with the windows rolled up but with them down its hard to ignore. I tried it but I'm just going to paint the tail pipe black and put it back on.
I've messaged a bunch of the sites who sell those fang lights for the 4runners and a couple have said the are currently working on them. They're out for the Tundra too, so just keep searching. Hoping for sequential ones to tie into the turn signals.
@@stockeywhat evidence do you have of that? The T24 is made to commercial standards and hasn’t had any major issues since 2021. It is a very good replacement for the 2GR/1GR with better drivability and power/torque.
Companies need to make down pipes & full cat back exhaust systems for these Turbo Tacomas. Not to mention bigger intercoolers, BOV, oil catch cans, & Cold air intake systems for this for this new platform. Because i can guarantee u, that turbo isn't gonna last long when people slap 35s, 37s, big bumpers, armor, and overlanding gears.
@noxnyc23 Well "Bruh" if u know anything about any turbo cars, u know that's how they breathe and let things out for the turbo to survive especially when these guys gonna slap 35s, bumpers and weight on it. They already have burning smells I been watching and reading from people.
@@jojo4rmdabronx true, but also the idea that axle dumps have been mods overlanders have been running for ages and it's also a factory Toyota modification too on the Trailhunter would make me also think they're comfortable with it.
Truck looks good and the sound was exactly the same. Id say it was a smart purchase, save a little weight and probably some complications down the road with that tight fitted stock axle back
Mark, great content but you suck at answering questions....😁 Im sure your just busy being SM famous... All kidding aside, now that you have had the dump installed for a week, you still feel the resonants are very minimal? Wouldnt get old after a long drive.....? Get back to your fans....👊
If you park in a home garage overnight that’s a bad idea. If you park outside that’s cool. I can’t image what exhaust fumes pumping into the middle of my garage would be like.

I like it, Looks great. Feels nice to have a quiet truck!
It’s a nice change for sure lol
Holy revzilla atleast we know the motor will hold hahaha. Sounds good though
Nice! I like the deeper exhaust tone.
Very Cool Upgrade Mark 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
😁
Love a good axle dump. Super clean and smooth
Yep!
Easy time!!! Awesome look
Perfect fitment, definitely sounds better than before with a clean note especially for a 4cyl . @NYTOP Top notch product IMO

What do you do for a livkng? Im always curious how everyone affords these insane vehicles good lord. 💯
They make Tacoma RUclips videos. And donate plasma. 5x a week. And try making coffee at home. Saves like $2 a day.
What’s the lift and tire size ?
Will this void the warranty?
Im digging those red details in the back bumper and the ones in the front. Did you painted them parts or did you bought them like that. What's the color....
Sounds like when my neighbor mows his lawn at 6am..
Mark, Now that you had the mod a few days, do you feel that exhaust resonants or exhaust noise is any louder inside the cab of the truck?
how much louder is it? is it CA legal?
What about horse power? how much more?
where can i buy the back panel by the bumper I crashed my tacoma after 2 weeks 😢😢
That sounds way better to me! What exactly is the point of that resonator on the stock pipe anyway?
I think it's there to enhance ugly, the first mod I made was having it cut back to the axle and then adding a straight pipe welded on out of sight. It's a bit louder and deeper tone, so that's the name of that tune.
What running boards are those? Look nice
I wonder if that helped with any turbo lag.
Is that black license plate 1960s Legacy version? or has it been legally customized?
Will this void factory dealer warranty?

What method wheels are those
I don't even get my Tacoma till Monday and Ive already got a list of parts! Looks like I'm adding another part to that list.
Congrats man. I get my offroad base manual in Canada on Saturday enjoy
Haha love it
where is there place and what is the name?
What size is that exhaust flange? Id like to build a similar axle dump but my truck hasnt arrived yet
70mm or 2.75"
Does an axle dump make you smell more exhaust fumes? Because it just builds up and creeps out from under the the bed?.
is that CA legal?
This would be nice for the 2025 4runner trd pro.. i don't like how the exhaust hangs down
Link to the part? 😆
nytop.store/2024-current-toyota-tacoma-titanium-axle-dump-exhaust-tip
does cutting the exhaust there have any effect on the exhaust pressure that spools the turbos?
It’s just a resonator removal. Resonators are just to dampen or change the sound of the exhaust. It won’t have any effect.
I just saw your truck for sale on Marketplace? Regretting it?
Really?!
Did you bend the rock rails?
Was hoping you were going to do a quick muffler delete shot. Can’t find any videos online of it.
does it comes diff breath tube?
Sounds like a Prius but cool
Sounds way better. The stock muffler makes it sound somewhat tinny.
Any exhaust fume issues coming in the cab while in traffic? Also if you stay with the dump, come COMMIEFORNIA smog time just rebolt the stock muffler??
The muffler is still there.
Then what is the object that is directly in front of the stock exhaust tip that he is trying to pull out the exhaust??
@@1hotahi964 a resonator.
Thought so! 👍👍👍
So nice working on your own truck 😅😊
You have a good attitude and the content is great!

Can we please black that front emblem out. I am enjoying your Tacoma vids get mine this Sat in Canada

And yet it makes more power than most v8s from 15-20 years ago 🥴

Not a race car bruh. It’s a stronger 4 banger with beefier internals. Turbo is merely there for the low end torque..

It’s not the 90s anymore bro 😂 you need all that crap just to have decent power
It’ll happen. Just give it time.
Can someone please explain why all the LED lights and dash’s are blinking?😂
Google says: the camera's frame rate doesn't match the frequency at which the LEDs turn on and off. This is called the stroboscopic effect.
Lol i think hes selling already on facebook market lol!!!
probably blew up the Turbo and the dealer had to replace it.
Sounds like my Corolla lol when I modded the exhaust.
I’d say this is bad for the axle components because now your dumping heat on the diff
Exhaust temps at that point aren't anything near hot enough, and when driving no heat is getting trapped around there.
I’m sure it does, especially sitting in traffic on a hot day but I suppose the only way to test the theory is to measure temps.

California smh
I though they already dump before the axel. I guess that only the Trailhunter....

After a few months of driving in the rain that front cover will fall off since it’s only 3m on the truck 🤦🏻♂️
Man…long before you worry about axel dumping your exhaust your biggest concern should be engine swapping that power train. 😂
Everyone shitting on the powertrain hasn't driven it yet. I'll take that over that gutless V6 anyday. Definitely the best Toyota I've owned by far.
lol ya you definitely revved it a little too long. The sound wasn’t gonna change the longer you revved it
Could just bought a 2 door?
🤷🏻♂️
I think instead of doing all that jacking up I think I would use my electric saw and chopped it out. I think it would’ve been easier.
Get the stainless version from Toyota. It's so much cheaper and it's stainless steel. You're not going to see it unless you're underneath it.

didnt make much of difference, maybe a hair deeper but the limiter sounds cool lol
