Hi so I have a 2010 Honda Civic and just found out today both my tail break lights are out and I was told by the man at the auto store that a lot of times that’s a fuse so I don’t want to replace the light bulbs and it’s the fuse so you have a video on how to change the fuse for the back break light and where it’s located at in my car. Great vid. I have a similar problem however, I have an 06 civic and the rear lights don’t turn on when I brake. The top brake light does turn on however, so my problem is with the rear left and right. They turn on with the parking, so it’s only when I brake. Any tips? Thanks.

Hi great video 👍🏼. I have a 2008 Honda Civic 1.8l and I’m having issues with the calibers sticking. I installed new calibers, slider pins, rotors, brake pads and both front brake line hoses. I’m still getting sticky calibers causing the rotors to get hot while driving. I did a complete brake flush to make sure there’s no air in the lines and filled the brake fluid reservoir to the correct full level but can not seem to find the problem. There’s no leaks around the master cylinder, no ABS or break lights on and the brake lines look good. Brake fluid runs through the front and back brake lines properly. I’m stuck on this one. If you or anyone have any ideas on what my issue is can you please let me know. There’s no ABS or any warning lights, no codes. Thank you.

Hi. I have replaced the rear left brake light bulb with a new bulb and it still doesn't work. The right brake light works though. It can't be the fuse or the brake switch. What else can it be?
Did u put in correct bulb? U can use test light to check power and ground into the socket while some on press the peddle that would confirm it’s bulb or somthing electrical
@@RBTheMechanic yes I have used the correct bulbs. I took it out and compared it at the auto shop. So it's definitely the right one. I don't have a multimeter either but it's ok now. I figured it out. I changed the sockets and put the left to the right and the right to the left. I think it was the fact that it wasn't connected properly. They just had to be inserted properly. Thanks for your reply anyway! Keep up the great videos! Very helpful and easy to follow!

You have to turn the plastic screw a couple of turns counterclockwise. If you don't do that, the screw spreads the arms of the lower piece and it won't fit back in the hole. To put the retaining screw back in, the idea is to loosen the screw so that the lower arms can come in to a narrow diameter, then theses arms will fit in the hole. Then when you tighten the screw it expands those arms back out so that the retaining piece won't pop back out of the hole. It is a common connector in Honda's, Toyota's and Lexus.
