Symphony X is such a great band that I feel embarrassed when people who call themselves "Progressive heavy metal listeners" have no idea about this magnificent band! Romeo, Rullo, Allen, Pinella, and Lepond, all of them are geniuses!

I forgot just how good Michael Romeo is. Him, Paul Gilbert and Mary Friedman inspired me to start playing guitar 25 years ago from those old VHS instructional videos.
