Super cool spotlight! Jeff is such a cool, laid back guy, it was super cool to listen to his backstory, not to mention the fact that it happened in the 80's. I love it. (As an 80's kid myself...being introduced to the band in 88'), it's always super cool to hear peoples intro stories around this era. Brings me back. Plus...such an amazing collection. Not to mention, he won my heart at the "Keeping Collecting / KISS a positive thing / staying off Facebook". HaHa. How often have we all felt that. Cannot agree more. Very cool. Jeff most certainly won a fan today. Great episode, great work. Thanks for sharing. Take care.

Hey guys, great show! I’m not really a big KISS collector, more monsters & Star Wars, but I’ve been a KISS fan since I was a kid when I discovered the solo albums. I was actually in a band that was managed by Kenny Kerner and I got to meet Bill Aucoin and hang out with him for a couple of hours back in the 90’s.

I Wished I was in California isn't a Kiss song.
It was recorded by the band Tomorrow Morning and issued as the b side of their Casablanca single Freewheelin'. Tomorrow Morning featured 3 members of Ace's band Molimo and were produced by Kerner and Wise.

Great stuff! In terms of Jeff’s logo trademark, the Mark sticker that says plaintiffs exhibit means it was either used in a deposition or at a trial. Maybe one of the Vinnie lawsuits. As a lawyer, I can confirm this with certainty.
But it would’ve had to of been something from 1977… Not 1983?! As stated in the show.. it is Dated Jan 4th 1977, came directly from Bill and Vinnie wasn’t even a thought at that time haha. It’s the re-registration of the original register for the trademark logo… Has a bunch other paperwork with it as well.

Love this podcast. At 36,40 the Canadian Alive II Joe shows does not have the yellow banner (top right) in French and English found for most Canadian pressings except the Canada Columbia house and the non- gatefold which has a white banner. Joe: can you confirm which pressing it is and what are the inserts? Columbia house Canada Is pretty rare IMO. That Alive with price sticker is also amazing. Thanks for sharing.

I ordered Killers from Amazon UK a month or so ago only to be told a couple of weeks ago they couldn't fulfil the order. 😡😥
Very sorry man. That’s because Amazon UK never ordered copies and presold it anyway. And once they did finally place an order, the record was sold out. Total screw up on Amazon UK’s part.
