Danny Worsnop is such a talented vocalist. Doing sick vocals when he was 17/18 starting in AA and throughout the years overcoming vocal injury, still completely on top of the game in AA. Then coming into We Are Harlot, and doing the raspy, rocker vocals and pulling it off extremely well. Very versitile vocalist. One of my favorites by far. Tremendous talent in this guy. Plus look at that fucking beard!
+Tanner Fry He definitely wasn't at the top of his game in AA. They were headlining at a show here in Toronto a year ago and Upon a burning body, Chelsea Grin, and Blessthefall were opening. All three of the openers killed it, but when AA came up, the energy of everyone just died because he just sang every song different and basically never screamed. I'll say though he is meant for this and this song is decent. As for the others, not a big fan but he's still a good vocalist.
He definitely lost the passion and "fire" for the music and live shows. Seemed he just cared about the material things.. drinking, cocaine, women etc.. and I definitely agree. We Are Harlot fits him well.. just hard to get used to from hearing him for so many years in AA. he made amazing songs in AA studio wise though.. You agree?
+Tanner Fry From Stand Up and Scream and Reckless & Relentless yeah for sure. From Death to Destiny though? That was him trying to change AA in to more of what We Are Harlot is. Didn't mind Killing Me but that was about it. I don't think he lost passion for live shows either, but rather metalcore music is general. It was probably for the better they went separate ways. As for Denis, I'm so stoked for the new album. I was a huge fan of his stuff from D&D. Unreal music, he could have made a name for himself in that band, but hopefully he brings that to the new AA album. So far so good with I won't give in and Undivided.
Death to Destiny was definitely were the conflict and passion was lost. I definitely agree on that. Denis is very talented and young and has fire and confidence. I think he will definitely take them into a new direction! Exciting to see what they can do especially after I Won't Give In & Undivided is amazing music.
What got me really pumped for the new album was Sam Bruce saying in an interview that the new record is a lot like Reckless and Relentless and Stand Up And Scream. Should be good.

Dannys voice suits this band better in my opinion. His voice goes really well with this song. I love the way it sounds. I mean of course its a little sad that he is parting ways with asking alexandria, but maybe this will be better for him guys. We never know. From what it seems just from this one song and the sound of the song, He's gonna do just as well with a new band as he was doing with Asking Alexandria.

Every album seems different to me. The very first album was like... Emo stuff, SU&S was screamo type with that dancey dance stuff, R&R was more hard, metal type with a dash of dance breaks, FDTD has a more rock and roll vibe with some screaming and hints of metal still in it. I think the next album will have more rock and roll than anything. Their music grows as they do. They're not 16 year old emo boys anymore hahaha
Vanessa Morrisseau My thoughts exactly. As your music taste changes, so does your albums. Wouldn't surprise me if they went rock soon. But even still, if AA does somehow flop, now Danny has We Are Harlot and his solo career to fall back on.
Nicky Veil on RUclips Exactly, but I also don't think that AA will flop completely because Ben Bruce is the main and original dude in the band (yes I know they work as a group, but you know what I mean) he's also a very talented and smart dude when it comes to music, so if Danny were to ever leave (which he won't for a long time I'm sure), AA should be fine with Ben still there. He'll remake it like he did in the beginning.

A lot of people say that Danny should leave AA. In my opinion I wouldn't want that. His voice ties all the instruments together and I love they way AA are with Danny. AA and We Are Harlot are one of the best bands out there x

I'm sorry, but Danny sounds and looks better in We are Harlot... this type of music matches him so fucking much. I love this change i'm a huge AA fan, but WAH is amazing.

+Noah Williams I disagree, it sounds better with Denis. The Danny we knew died in 2012 after his vocals changed and he started disliking metal music. Denis fits perfectly and makes the band sound how they did from 2008-2012
+Deion Mitchell I also disagree . I also like the music from 2008-2012 but in my opinion From Death To Destiny is by far AA's best album . They became every album better and reach their high 2013 . AA with Denis is more like 2008 which is not bad but not my favorite AA time .
+Denkmamit11 I respect your opinion and understand where you're coming from. They definitely brought more fans in with FDTD, but at the cost of appeasing Danny and their happiness. It had a lot of songs that could be a continuation from Reckless & Relentless like Killing You, The Death Of Me, Run Free, Poison etc. but a lot of other songs on the album didn't sound like progress to me, it sounded like they wanted to be Avenged Sevenfold which I don't like much. Again, it was to make Danny happy. I prefer Reckless & Relentless as it to me and many others showed the happiest and most mature of AA without compromising who they were. SU&S was great for its time but was done by bands like I See Stars, Attack Attack!, Enter Shikari

AX7 is brutal guitar solos , complex rhythms , thanks to guitarist Synyster Gates , however AA has more than all rasgueos on guitar and easier rhythms , and musical rhythms they do not look anything from one to another , as you go on to say that asking alexandria equals avenged sevenfold , compared from death to destiny with any albums of them to tes account

FullMetalWrestling Instrumentally I agree. However, I do like AA's style of "Open note chugging". Im not a guitar player, but it does sound good, or at least it does to me. I also enjoy complex music that requires more talent, but as far as which I enjoyed more overall, AA takes the title. Might be because I can relate to AA a bit more. Its just my opinion, and I understand that there are opposing opinions and I respect everyones equally. AA gets alot of shit, and I imagine its due to their style instrumentally because it does not require much talent compared to other bands. I do not believe that automatically makes their music shit though. To me if it sounds good then who cares how much talent it took? Harlot will do just fine as I am sure AA will as well. I just miss my favorite vocalist being in my favorite band is all.
Disregarding his previous band, which is my all time favorite, Danny has a lot still going for him. I will support his decision and continue to support his previous ones also. We are harlot... Is a kickass band, so rock on brother \m/.

This band suites Danny more. His voice has a more "rock n roll" / "classic rock" vibe to it that I'm liking

People, come on, if Danny wants to continue Asking Alexandria and We Are Harlot, then he'll continue both. If he wants to continue Asking Alexandria then he'll continue it. If he wants to continue We Are Harlot then he'll continue it. If he doesn't want to continue either then he won't. All that matters is we should support him no matter what he does. Don't tell him what to do because he is his own person and can do what he wants with his bands.
