I think the balance of unlucky morpheus is very good，This song is based on violin, so the audio is more focused on the violin part，unlucky morpheus has a lead singer and two guitarists, But they still have a lot of songs that make the violin stand out
The original Malmsteen piece was inspired by Paganini. So Unlucky Morpheus is doing a violin cover of a guitar work that was inspired by a famous violinist. It comes full circle.
I recommend checking out their song "The Tower of the Blood" live, its the full band with vocals, but the violin is a big focus of the song imo.
Kind of interesting to hear the guitar performing the keyboard leads!
Beyond the Paganini inspiration for most of Malmsteen's compositions (including Far Beyond The Sun), this tune was truly born to be played on the violin.
Almost brought tears to my eyes that made me so happy! Jill-san is incredible. I've been keeping om eye on them while hunting (for new music) and I sae this album coming up. I even caught two of the other videos (she does Eddie Van Halen's Eruption as well), but I missed this one, how!? Completely agree on Jethro Tull...Heavy Horses is still one of my favorite albums. Normally a six-piece, with two dominant vocalists and an extra guitar. My guess is they set up Quadratum just for people like us who have been asking to see them do stuff featuring more forward violin. Anyway, she's phenomenal, probably the best rock/prog violinist since Jean-Luc Ponty.
They have also realeased a cover of Eruption by Van Halen. Today they are releasing Dream Theater's The Dance of Eternity , something Jill has been playing on her live streams over January, one time she did it wearing a blind fold, which you can see here ruclips.net/video/8eZVVtaOBKk/видео.html

Trata-se de um cover Nihongo de uma obra "metal neoclássico" (que envolve heavy metal com elementos de música clássica) do virtuoso, velocíssimo e "ouvido absoluto" guitarrista sueco Yngwie Malmsteen. A novidade é a mescla (de solos) do violino e da guitarra desses japoneses, que eu penso que ficou muito, muito interessante. A violinista Jill também é muito, muito virtuosa: ela só dá a oportunidade para a guitarra quando os dedinhos dela já estão em chamas (e, aparentemente, ela é uma gracinha).
É o Japão fazendo rock com mais cara do próprio Japão.
Qualquer um vai perceber que a a violinista Jill está possessa nesta apresentação. Possessa de um virtuosismo que, em geral, só nos chega a envolver a alma poucas vezes ao longo de nossas vidas.

Interesting you make the Jethro Tull connection, the original recording by Yngwie had Barrimore Barlow of Tull on drums.
