How to Make Sliding Cabinet Doors for Beginners | Beginner Woodworking | Woodworking Basics

In this video, I go through the process of adding sliding doors to my shop cabinet. I built this cabinet a while back in hopes of making some additions to it to help with shop organization. I finally got around to giving it some features and decided to add some sliding doors to it. The sliding doors were made out of luan I had laying around from a previous project. Luan is relatively inexpensive compared to thicker plywoods.

This is great! What would you do if you could not disassemble to cabinet but wanted to add the sliding doors?

I work in a kitchen that has these doors in the storage cabinets. They are ancient. I love the sleek unadorned simplicity, but our doors don't slide nicely. The doors seem heavy, especially with barely any way to open.
Do you have any ideas on how to get the doors to slide open easily? Or perhaps an idea on knobs or pulls?

For sure, although I was able to get a hold of it a few weeks ago, I just checked and his plans can still be downloaded at no cost. I just happened to go'ogle Woody Hyezmar's Woodworking Bible and got it before he decided to sell it or something lol, have a good one!
