I work in a kitchen that has these doors in the storage cabinets. They are ancient. I love the sleek unadorned simplicity, but our doors don't slide nicely. The doors seem heavy, especially with barely any way to open. Do you have any ideas on how to get the doors to slide open easily? Or perhaps an idea on knobs or pulls? Thank you in advance.

How did the plywood frames hold up over time? I use common boards for my frames but they tend to be bowed or try to split on the ends. I pocket holes are cleaner too.
