thanks so muc for these tutorials, they are very helpful and appreciated.
Thanks so much by the way, your instructions have significantly improved my prints and understanding. Also the nippers are called flush cutters.
Great to hear!
yeah, it escaped my mind, it is kinda hard to think while on live.
i am not used to talk in front of camera yet.
@wangdennys sorry I just saw that you got stuck in it that last two times and wasn't sure if anyone had mentioned what they were. You are great on camera. I love the joy you bring to your videos.
🤩It was very informative and helpfull! Thnx!
Thank you
Great tutorial! Lots of value even if you're not printing a head.
Even if i am not printing a head?
@@wangdennys Sorry, that wasn't clear. I mean the tips you shared can be used for other models as well, not only heads.
@@pacificcoastminiatures ah okay, thank you.
I would love to see one of these for female heads with flowing hair. Location action pose that the hair is flying.
do you have the model for sample?
@@wangdennys I do have 3 different heads that has those types of hair.
@@miricoleciona send 1 over
I can do it on live
Thank you for this very informative session. Very nice and clear explained. Also nice you you answer the user questions related to your live work you are presenting.
Thank you
Oh did i miss something? Did you hollowed the face portrait before this video ? It looks hollowed with wall thickness
I have a fun model for you to support... It is miserable and very hard, and I can't bring myself to do it because of all the fine hair strands. It's a purchased stl, can I still send it to you to do on live support?
Send it to me.
I will see what i can do.
@@wangdennys What do I send it through? Email?
@@brendon6930 yes email will be find.
You can find it in this channel about
Could you show this but on a model with long hair? Also, at what point do you ignore islands, I ask because I recently did a model that had a gear shape that ended up having to be upright and at about a 10 degree angle. It was about .75 cm in size once the print was done, but during supporting I zoomed in as far as I could to see all the islands and once it was printed my supports felt excessive for the detail that actually printed based on the size I printed.
Generally best to print characters with long hair upside down such that their hair tips don't need to be supported BUT their face is still pointing roughly up
Best if hair and face are separate pieces but it still works
@stigmautomata so with the supports running up the inside of the hair, and then eventually the head stem and chin? If so, that is what I was thinking as well. I was just hoping for a more elegant solution to avoid a tall, lengthy print. Thank you.
pretty much the same angle.
but if possible i will do live support on model with long hair.
Yes like that.
The best way is to have separate hair and head.
Thank you both.
