Hey folks, I've found a way to make the A.I. models more detailed (like WAY more detailed). You can find a full tutorial on my channel, I hope it helps you achieve better results. Have a good one!
I created some characters in Daz. I tried uploading 6 images from different angles but instead of creating one model it attempted to create separate models for each image then it used up all my coins and now it is forcing me to sign up. How do I create one model from multiple images with a free account?
To elaborate - If I take 20-30 photos (similar to photogrametry) of my iRL truck, and submit them to the AI, it can assemble those 20 photos together to make the model
Bingo. That really is the thing i think we're all waiting for. Because the thing I really want is the ability to make detailed interiors from AI and I just imagine a tool in the near future where I can take a dozen pictures of the same room from different angles and import them and it figures out the space in a more detailed accurate way. This feels very much like "check back in 6 months" kind of technology.
I've been looking for something like this for a year now! I'd like to print a bust of my mom, can't really scan her or use photogrammetry because she passed away and don't have multiple perspective photos from the same moment so 2D images are all that I have left!
This is absolutely amazing, I love the idea and really hope you achieve what you planned! If during the project you face any struggles, I would be honored to help you, feel free to come back and contact me. Best of luck, you really made my day with that comment, what a beautiful and noble way to use this technology! Thank you Sir, have yourself a great day and stay awesome
@@architech_the_engineer thank you very much! hope to be able to get good results after first optimizing the photos and manually removing backgrounds. But really appreciate the availability ❤️

This is very nice! Though after tinkering a bit, I think one simple thing they might be able to do that would be incredibly useful would be to allow me to edit those four generated views from different angles that it uses as an intermediate step. A couple of the things I've tried had views that would have been great if I could have just gone in with a simple image editor and stretched and squashed parts of the images. Ideally I could download them and do some full blown editing work in my local toolset.

Seems like it might be a good tool for creating reliefs to be cnc carved. Don't have to worry about the backs of objects with that. I'm interested what it does with multiple objects in a scene. Will it just chose a single object to focus on? Or will it generate stuff for the entire scene?
Basing on an experience with chair image (1:07) it focuses on one object and cuts it out of the background. You can actually find the cut-out image, to do this go to export in upper corner (like when downloading a model) and find INPUT IMAGE. It will show what part of the photo was used to create a model :)
@@architech_the_engineer interesting. I would probably have to break up an image into individual objects, then assemble the elements back together... Thanks!
@@linaskesiunas yes, it is possible to generate a relief directly from a bitmap, but it relies on the pixels' color value (lightness/darkness) so for a regular image where brightness doesn't necessarily correspond to depth, it will be distorted. Under certain lighting conditions it's not too bad, and with an actual depth map (generated from a 3d model) it will work. The AI is fundamentally different in that it's actually trying to imagine the shape of the objects depicted in an image.

Very interesting, thank you for the video. Too bad that the AI tool is still a bit underdeveloped, because just as we can guess from a front view of a car what the rest looks like, especially if we recognize the vehicle model, so should the Ai. Multimodal models will create almost perfect models within the next 4-6 months, and they will probably also be game-ready with correct topology, and most likely weights and skeletons for animations. Finally, I'll be able to save multiple months of time for my solo project thanks to these.
I haven't had good luck with asymmetrical car parts like a headlight assembly but I'm wondering if the upgraded plan which allows Video to model would help... we will see for $20 a month ill give it a try
However it’s possible that these AI generated 3D models may not be protected by copyright including if you heavily edit them yourself so you can use them as references but you need to fully model assets yourself or from human made assets you have permission to use.
As an 3d engineer it's scary how fast all this develooment is going on.... cheap cad programms can build you models with individual technical reqirements only with a few defined easy bodies and parameters... 😳😧
I have 3d models I created in daz but the topology is not good for 3d printing. If I upload multiple angled images will it create a 3d print ready model or will I be back to square one and have to clean this topology in blender? If so this program is useless for my purposes.
You can’t upload multiple images, however I have another video (the last one on my channel) on how to get incredible topology details based on textures. If your models have textures prepared in DAZ, you can use that tutorial to achieve much more complex topology for printing
If you guys really like scans, you can try scanning stuff yourself, it will take more pictures of your subject but the results will be lightyears ahead 😅
what if I already have the side, back and top view? can I input multiple images or only one? It would be better to have the option to provide more than one image of the same object.

@@incogneato790 i know a company that is already working on that, I’m quite curious on how it turns out. Would be a very handy thing to work with
It would be great if you could upload multiple views of the same object.
Multimodal models will create almost perfect models within the next 4-6 months, and they will probably also be game-ready with correct topology, and most likely weights and skeletons for animations.
Finally, I'll be able to save multiple months of time for my solo project thanks to these.
sell-out...lol
I haven't had good luck with asymmetrical car parts like a headlight assembly but I'm wondering if the upgraded plan which allows Video to model would help... we will see for $20 a month ill give it a try
Let us know what you think!
Using just one photo is ridiculous, they should allow us to upload any number of reference photos from various angles.
Yea.
However it’s possible that these AI generated 3D models may not be protected by copyright including if you heavily edit them yourself so you can use them as references but you need to fully model assets yourself or from human made assets you have permission to use.
The video version would probably be better, or no? Would guess it would be able to generate much better objects as it has information for all sides?
I would also assume that, but I have not tried this technique yet
What if we have multiple views of the same object? Say 4 sides of a car and an overhead shot?
Can they not allow multiple images to capture other angles of the object?
💥
10:25 is there a way to do this without keyboard? I wish I knew the method using the menu instead? (Scale Z 0)
As an 3d engineer it's scary how fast all this develooment is going on.... cheap cad programms can build you models with individual technical reqirements only with a few defined easy bodies and parameters... 😳😧
Can you use this for products?
I have 3d models I created in daz but the topology is not good for 3d printing. If I upload multiple angled images will it create a 3d print ready model or will I be back to square one and have to clean this topology in blender? If so this program is useless for my purposes.
You can’t upload multiple images, however I have another video (the last one on my channel) on how to get incredible topology details based on textures. If your models have textures prepared in DAZ, you can use that tutorial to achieve much more complex topology for printing
is there any way to produce Lalique spirit of the wind ? front view only would not give enough information
If you guys really like scans, you can try scanning stuff yourself, it will take more pictures of your subject but the results will be lightyears ahead 😅
Great video!
Thank you kindly!
I'm surprised it doesn't allow you to upload your own sides, bottom and top views for precision
what is good for doing cars?
what if I already have the side, back and top view? can I input multiple images or only one? It would be better to have the option to provide more than one image of the same object.
Agree, however for now there is only 1 input picture available :(
