At present this is only a dream purchase for me, but watching your model come to life, helps that dream be a bit more of a reality! And when I do own this kit, I hope to tackle all the details as you have! Amazing build and time spent! Wonderful finished product!
You did a beautiful job on this kit. I also have built and painted this kit. It was the most challenging model I have ever worked on. I enjoyed it more than another model project I have experienced. The amount of detail surpasses any 1/16 Tank kit that is available today. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an ultimate satisfaction in a tank model build.
Impressive model. As an ex tank crew (British Centurion, heavy tank from the same era) I recognise all the details, gauges and levers inside. Very educational images, now everyone can see what an intricate piece of machinery a heavy German tank was. How every inch of space was utilised with a full load of shells, both HE and armour piecing. To see the inside simply remove the turret and display it separately.
Absolutely beautiful work. I am currently building a German prototype that never went into production, but has the same turret. The turret is a full interior kit and it’s driving me crazy, so my hat is off to you for tackling this build, and so well. Awesome. I t is also helping me make sure that my current interior is correct, so thanks for that too.
Catches the eye in 1/35 scale but boy, wasn’t she built for 1/16? 😍 I’ve just managed to reel one in for £207 delivered but also splashed out on the upgrade ammo racks, as apparently there’s an issue with the kit ones impairing Turret traversing? Just one question, please “did you zimmerit the model, or did it come like that”? If the kit comes like that, do you get an alternative “plain” body and turret (poss the kit is plain but gives you a zimmerit tooling set)? Anyhow, thanks for the vlog and well chosen background music....I shall go back and watch it again.....yes, I know but I’m also retired.....🤪😂😂😂
Hi Richard, I bought the Zimmerit for the model, and sorry but no my friend there is nothing in the kit for applying any zimmerit. Wise decision on the the Ammo Racks though.
Nice! I use "Corona" to take the time to build a 1/16 RC E50 "Panther III" with 6 mm BB Gun , Sound and Smoke. Based on Taigen Tiger II and Panther F Turret and some Pictures from World of Tanks 😁
Having just finished a 1/16 Pz.IV, and several more 1/16 models in the works, I'm now wondering if all that interior detail is worth the time and effort for something that gets sealed up and never sees the the light of day. For you Sir, congrats for your amazing work
I would say #1 For the pure enjoyment of the build "hidden" parts are absolutely worth it. #2 Most models have something that won't normally be seen but we invest in effort anyways. #3 There are ways to make it so these things can be visible. I to have this kit in progress.😁🤙
@@modelerjerry5119 Its not only that my friend, when it's all done up, and on the shelf,,,,It's the knowing, that its ALL in there..and..YOU did it....Model On,,!

Sir, how long did this take you to construct? This build is basically like building a real one just smaller. I restored a 1.5T chevrolet ww2 army truck frame off and it took me 9 months.
Hi Vincent, If I recall correctly, because I did not buy any extra add-on's for it, it took me about 3 months. I am retired now and I had plenty of time on my hands,,,Every Day.
@@js1714 Too bad you could not show the interior. Have you heard of Dan Jayne? He is passed now, but he did full half aircraft in skeleton showing all interiors, etc.
@@js1714 And, Sir, your video and yours only make me to buy this kit, and i really like it! Hope its gonna be more 1/16 of different developers and wish you luck in your hobby ! Great Job you ve done about this model!
The ammunition is bigger then a NATO 5.56 and almost longer then a 308 round in 1/16 size lol. I could probably use real 308 or 5.56 brass rounds with primer out to make it look very real
I'm building this now and it's a pig of a kit ! You can see in frame 1:28 the lowest right of the engine a big hole that goes nowhere. No pipe that connects to it ,nothing. The rear of the drivers seat is non existant. This is NOT a full interior model, you have so many missing parts it makes this a major disapointment to the point where you wonder, why bother ?

A new level of model presentation. Video, music, quality of work.. all outstanding! Love the gloss on the radio and instruments. Fantastic.
Amazing! I just started to build mine..I will use your video as a reference. Berlin's last King Tiger ..as described in Marks Felton's video!
Amazing, excellent job !👏🏻 🔥
So much awesome detailing inside, it's almost ashamed to have it all covered up with the amour.
It is a very detailed art works!
Nicely done sir. Minimal amount of weathering. I like it.
Amazing model thanks for sharing it with us.
Beautiful job
what a beast! great job
Thank you very much indeed.
AWESOME TANK well done :)

What a beast! Great work!
I think you have done a a very good job 👍 👍
The barrel on that gun is scary just to look at, the velocity must have been so powerful. God pity anyone on the receiving end.
Great video.....I think you are the first person to make a video of this tank. Maybe one day I start on my. Thank you.
Einfach einzigartig wunderschön thank you Bro🤘

John -- quick question -- did you use any after market parts on this stunning build ? Or was it all from the kit or scratch built ?
Hello Mate,,No I did not,,,everything you see is out of the box,,,hope this helps...
Sir, how you ve made a zimmerite?
Hello, well I'm sorry my friend I did not make it, I bought it,,Its made by ATAK. I hope this helps.

Hi, which colors did you use? and how much thinning
Hi, Tamiya Paints: XF-58, XF-59, and XF-64. I thinned 50/50. I hope this helps, Model on.

Beautiful work, especially on the interior...showroom fresh. Your music choice sucks.
You have the wrong chassis height. And there is no water drainage gutter on the frontal armor of the cannon
Based off multiple wartime photos of Tiger IIs, the chassis height is just right.
@@TheLouHam Mostly like this on destroyed or damaged tanks
@@ES.models nope. Take a look at the photos of 2nd kop. Of the 503 in Budapest, in normandy, and lots of other places. Plenty of pics out there.
I thought the same but it is correct after checking references, the only thing is the rear idler wheel could do with going up a touch.
Hi there, I'm a bit late but what colours did you use for the engine?
