2-Year-Old Girl Caught by Teen After Falling Out Window

- A teen was in the right place at the right time to make an important catch just as a child fell out of a building. A surveillance camera caught the terrifying moment on a street in Istanbul. Feuzi Zabaat, 17, was working nearby and had seen the little girl in an open second-floor window. His fears were realized when she tumbled down, but Zabaat was waiting to catch her. Zabaat then carried 2-year-old Dora Muhammed back to her parents. #InsideEdition
In a society where the word "hero" is vaguely used for many actions, this young man is actually a real hero.
You can say that again. With the usage of the word “hero” here in America, when an actual hero will finally surface, they’ll probably call him/her a god.

I know it happens, but it's still odd to blame yourself for life over something you did not cause and was powerless to prevent. I understand feeling depressed over the loss, but blaming yourself because you couldn't stop a bullet or crashing airplane is another story. It's the blaming yourself part I find irrational.

I don't think that would happen, more likely scenario is that others would simple be busy with either shooting themselves for tiktok or stuck their heads on phones and have no care for what's going around and baby would hv gone splat coz no one bothered to pay attention. Well she’s only 2 she might of been looking out the window and thinking it was safe to go out but it wasn’t and ended up falling and the parents probably didn’t even see bc they were probably busy or there just not that good of parents

You can be in the same room with a child and, take your eyes off of them for a second. That's how easy it is. Parents will be able to identify with this especially those that have had their children wander off in public. when seconds before they were holding your hand.

@@pjpumpkin3370 well when you live several stories up and have an open window that even a small child can clearly access and fall from you dont take your eyes off them for even a second. In fact you ensure such a thing just cant happen. There is simply no excuse for it. It is terrible parenting period. If that guy wasnt there that would now be either a dead child or one severely disabled for life. And dont try telling me that wouldn't have been the parents fault. Of course it is. They're the ones looking after her and the book stops with them. Its neglect... pure and simple.

The guy was obviously watching that kid at the window for some time so it wasnt just a blink at all. They left that kid unsupervised in a room with a wide open accessible window and there is just no excuse for it. It is neglect period.
I was in a situation about 20 years ago, somewhat similar. I was in my 7th floor apartment when I saw a child less than a year old in the window across from me. Man, let me tell you, the panic I felt. I couldn't keep my eyes of this child, but I knew longer I kept my eyes on her, the sooner she was going to go overboard. I ran down the hall and banged on the door to her apartment and told the parents and they got her before any tragic took place. As a parent, your instincts most certainly kick into high gear when you see something like that.
Good for that little girl. That guy was her guardian angel when least expected. I wish blessings and peace to both of them.🙏🙏
