a good camera, and good lights.
My camera has manual lighting settings and anti flicker settings.
and I have 3 lamps, which don't flicker.

it was over a period of several weeks, but that was because I was lazy XD
1800 pictures split over 4 days of animating, each day doing roughly 3-5 hours of animating.
all and all, maybe 10-20 hours

Every speed build video should be made like this. The accelerated uncut video of the guys actually making the build is just awkward imo.

I have a good camera. (Logitech C920) and I use it at it's highest setting; 15mp
quality also improves when gain is reduced to 0, and if you have good lamps
