Hi dude and greetings from France! I was just wondering : What's the purpose of pre-filling the new oil filter with some new engine oil before putting it onto the bike ? I've done several oil changes in my life, but never ever really thought about that...what's the point ? Thanks and ride safe.
Well I got my answer here : ruclips.net/video/hnNN6c7lb8c/видео.html around 11:45 but most of the time, only applies when the filter is facing upwards. I will try that when my next service will come on my Ninja ZX636 later this month. Thanks anyway.
no crush washer installed? also, can you explain how you removd that filter without burning your hand off? and i noticed the oil didnt leak onto your headers
Man I'm glad I found your video! you just taught me that it's easy to do this myself thanks brotha

Nice & simple, thanks for taking the time to make the video.
Well done you just over filled your oil. 2.2 without the filter (which you already filled, well half) 2.5 with the filter empty.

It helps with the oil circulating quicker to the top end of the motor at the initial start up.
So it's 3 liters of oil total for the oil change? What's the crush washer for?
