As a healthy hetrosexual Man of breeding age with a Good head on my shoulders, I absolutly believe that a Man and a Woman CAN BE simply very Good Friends. HOWEVER! The other Motivational Speaker Head of mine situated between my legs always seemed to be in a disagreement and will convinced it’s way that there should be more to that than just platonic Friendship with another hetrosexual female. 🤦🏼♂️😅 So I guess my answer is No.
Men and women can both have platonic relationships with one another. Just because they’re the opposite sex doesn’t mean that have to be in a romantic relationship.

There can never been platonic friendship between men and women. The thought of having a pure platonic friendship between men and women is just pure garbage because honestly speaking, the guy has no benefit in having a platonic friendship with a girl. 99% of the time when a guy talks and wants to know a girl, it's for sex, and you can get that from your wife or your girlfriend. So why bother having friendships with other girls? There is a ton of better things to do rather than being her "therapist".
Exactly, I would also add it’s not beneficial for a guy/ not in a man’s best interest to have a girl as their “friend” because she gets the boyfriend treatment from the guy, I.e his time and attention without being made the official boyfriend. She gets all these benefits without needing to assign him as “boyfriend” status.
