- I decided to dress up my shop by using some stained two by fours that I cut into thin strips on my band-saw. This is a super easy project to get rid of any ugly insulation in your shop or even just to decorate any wall in your house.

I love the non-symmetrical look. gives your workshop a definite one of a kind look!!! You are also gaining a ton of confidence in front of the camera and it shows.
Thank you, ya the shop is slowly coming together one step at a time. And yes, I guess I have my moments 😉
Great idea and looks great too!
Thank you! Ya, can't wait till the whole shop is done👍
That looks WAY better! I'm having my shop insulated and drywalled right now. I may have to do something like this!
Go for it! It's super easy to do and go for any combo of colors you want 👍 Thanks for watching 👍
Great cheap way to do your workshop, and looks good too. Like the use of two different stains.
Thank you!👍
That turned out great
Thanks!👍
I never would have thought to slice up 2x4s for wall covering like that! It turned out great. I vote leave the top alone. I think they look nice together as-is.
Thank you and thanks for your input!👍
I really like the effect, I did a similar wall in my little workshop shed a couple of years ago, but I used pallet wood. I think I'll do something like this again one my wall are boarded.
Cool, thanks 👍 Yep, pallet wood is definitely a good alternative.
That wall looks awesome - would have never thought to make something like this from 2x4s!
Thanks! Yep, simple and cheap, the way I like it!👍
Very interesting approach to finishing the wall! Looks great John 👍
Thanks! Like I said, I was just getting tired of looking at insulation. Especially the "back drop" to most scenes in my videos.
Nice! 👍🏻 never underestimate the power of a 2 x 4. Looks great!
Thank you, can’t wait till it’s done!👍
It would be tough for me to stain the French cleat since it’s already in use!!
Well that's what is nice about mine. Everything will come off. Then I could even unscrew the cleats on the wall and stain them a different color then the back wall. Still undecided so who knows...
I think the natural looks the best. Mixing the bottom looks good but I would leave the top alone. It will make the shop very dark and dreary.
Cool, thanks for your input and thanks for watching!👍
