Why not just use a dado blade?
When you want two pieces of wood to fit together perfectly, this is just a way to ensure very accurate, repeatable cuts every time you use is in conjunction with a table saw sled. I suppose you could use a dado blade and the tool if you had a sled built for a dado blade but most people do not. Also in European countries the dado blade is illegal so this is also a great option for them.

@@nickster5286 yep, I’ve heard those countries consider them dangerous 🤷♂️ I mean how much more dangerous can they be? The table saw in general is the most dangerous tool in the shop anyway even with one blade.
