    You stole my favorite management line, "surround yourself with smart people who make you look good!".
    I usually break it into two parts - a humility part and a humorous part. I humbly tell other managers that my success comes from surrounding myself with smart people - it gets a grin. I playfully tell my team directly that their job is to make me look good! It gets a team chuckle and then they go off and do great work. Humor is one of my management techniques.

    Through delegation, a manager is able to divide the work and allocate it to the subordinates. This helps in reducing his work load so that he can work on important areas such as - planning, business analysis etc.

    Delegation is a very important aspect of working in any organization, a person who knows the art of delegating the right work to a right person and himself focusing on the higher priority area along with motivating the team ends up getting all the work done completely in a very short span.

    I loved the video! I think one of the most difficult things to do when delegating is knowing who to assign certain tasks to. You really have to dissect the team member and make sure they are not only CAPABLE but having the skill set to complete the task. Anyone can organize a training manual from A to Z but someone that has the skill set to do so will make the content clear and concise as well as having each section flow the way it needs to. I hope I explained what I mean clearly. The question I have for you is, where do you find people or "PROS" to model yourself after? Thank you for the content! =) -SAL

    As we saw in a video, Delegation is to entrust the tasks or responsibility to a person who is less senior than oneself.
    Delegation is important as it allows you to hand over tasks to others whose skills are better aligned to accomplish that specific task. This helps in reducing his work load so that he can work on important areas.
