Roland FP90 with KS-G8B keyboard stand

- Finally replaced the folding table I was using as a keyboard stand for the past 10 months with the Roland KS-G8B keyboard stand. The Roland FP-90 is now much more aesthetically pleasing.

The stand looks very good, I'm surprised you're experiencing some wobble, maybe more feet-pad adjustment ?
All DPs sound better thru headphones but I think the FP90 stills sounds pretty good thru its speakers,

Is your piano stand set on its lowest setting? I think it has 3 heights right?
Is the stand pretty portable? It just doesn't look like it collapses very easily.
It is not too difficult to assemble and dissemble. All you need to do is to loosen four screws that are holding it inplace. The stand is quite bulky however. I would say it is portable but it is really meant to be stationary.

Hey you guys probably know more than me, I am wanting to get the Rd 2000 and I wanted to get a stand that matches so I was thinking of this stand or the KS 10z. I really just want which ever is sturdier. I will be playing mostly at home maybe a few gigs out but not much. Which would you recommend The KSG 8B or the KS 10Z?
@@MiMoTheMusician Stands from "K & M" are worth checking out. I have an RD 2000 on a K & M Omega, and it's rock solid. They are quite industrial looking but great quality at a reasonable price. They tend to get great reviews and I understand why now.
Would this stand work for the FP-30X?
Yes, it should work with any digital piano.
My apartment is carpet as well, and I plan to get one of the roland FP on a table like your original one without the KS-G8B. Is the regular table really wobbly on the carpet?
Yes, the folding table is wobbly comparing to a proper stand but it works if you are on a budget.
@@StevenQGao Thanks for your comments! Does the KS-G8B save the wobbly issue on the carpet? Do you feel like to try something else? like wooden stand based on your experience on KS-G8B, or feels that the X style frame would be good enough?
@@seankernel The KS-G8B stand is much more stable on the carpet, but if you dont need the portability, the wooden stand KSC-90 would be a better choice and even more stable I think. I don't like the X stand as it doesnt give enough leg room. My knee would hit the steel bar.
Is that original music stand? Do you think it could be mounted on RD 88?
Yes, it's original, came with FP90.
The tuts of roland keyboard is so noisy.. Not as quite as yamaha.
