You're a lifesaver - This works with the Roland FP-60 too. The only difference is that on the FP-60, the latching mechanism of the keys required me to also remove the front panel (the part of the case in front of the keys).

Would this stand work for the FP-30X?

WOW... what's happening with Roland's quality control? Not that long ago you would never see something like a key being out of place even on Roland's cheapest keyboard. Roland has been known for having very good hardware. Look's like Korg needs to step in and prove dominance with a MIDI 2 enabled Kronos supporting POLY AT and release velocity;-)

I just purchased this piano and haven’t opened the box yet. It’s my Birthday present 🎁. I’ll open it next week and I will inspect it for any keys that may be out of alignment as well. This is one hell of an Instrument. I bought the RD 600 back in 2001 and had the plastic hammers began to crack and break after about 10 yrs of constant playing, gigging, and songwriting. But I love the Roland Digital Pianos and this one is not designed the same way my still owned Roland RD 600. And I just ordered a pair of Sony 7506 Headphones to replace my MRV 600 which I’ve had since the late 80”s

My apartment is carpet as well, and I plan to get one of the roland FP on a table like your original one without the KS-G8B. Is the regular table really wobbly on the carpet?

The tuts of roland keyboard is so noisy.. Not as quite as yamaha.

I recently bought my Roland FP-90 and I have a problem with black keys: I need 66g to move (not to make sound) the middle C and 72g to move the C#. Indeed it's a bit annoying playing songs with a lot of black keys. Anyone else who noticed this problem?

Hi! Thanks for the video. If you ever have to open it up again could you please measure the lever length i.e. the distance from the front end of the key and the lever point. This is very hard to find out on the Internet.

Awesome piece, sounds great. The stand looks very good, I'm surprised you're experiencing some wobble, maybe more feet-pad adjustment ? All DPs sound better thru headphones but I think the FP90 stills sounds pretty good thru its speakers,
