Thank you for the very informative video. Even someone like me (I'm not very IT knowledgeable) could understand and follow. You definitely give enough information to help even us noobs 😂
Great tutorial on Memtest. It is a great idea to have the test on a usb drive. I was wondering why you ran it on a 3rd gen processor with ddr3? Thanks for the video!
Iv’e got the DRAM orange LED on the mobo after i have installed the chipset for the CPU, i installed the chipset and after that the program wants me to restart the PC and when it boot up agian my screens are black and the orange DRAM led is there and it wont boot up, i had to unplug power cable and rs cemos and it started up. This is probably why PoE2 and helldivers 2 freezing if i uncap my FPS, in both of those games, its always in some type of loading screens the CPU TEMP jumps from like 56% load to 100% in a second and the game + windows freezes and i cant move the cursor. something to mention is that the CPU is R7 9800x3D with G-skill 32gb Ram 6000mhz CL30, I use and older kraken x53 240mm from my older rigg, and its 3 years old, could it be the AIO? Please help me!😔
I once did a 14 hour, about 2 or 3 day test, of ram modules and learned that 1 stick from 2 seperate sets were bad. Would you recommend testing your ram every few months to make sure the health of the ram is still good? And how many hours should I let it run?
That's quite interesting! Generally I wouldn't recommend that no, I would only start doing these test if you notice something is off with your computer or it's not working properly and you need to start troubleshooting the issue.
@@memstechtips Alright, thanks! Keep up the great videos, it's a refreshing take on computer management. Most tech tubers have gotten a little dull for me, but your videos have been interesting so far.
Like I explained in the video, it doesn't test the RAM as thoroughly as the other software and can provide false negatives. I'm not 100% sure about this but I think the built in test's algorithms aren't as good as memtest86 for example.
Using it for many years. Best mem test, from laptops to desktops to servers
This morning I literally downloaded a memtest app that sort of worked so this came at the right time. Cheers 🙂
Perfect! I hope the steps in this guide helps you out!

*How would you know it it's the Slot an Not the RAM if you put that RAM in the Same Slot as the previous RAM*

Wow, your accent has been fading each and every video, i just wanted to say that :)
Nice! I think that's a good thing...? 😊

If there is errors, can it be fixed? or do i have to get me a new one?
If there are any errors then it's best to replace the faulty ram with new ones.
Why is the built in app so inferior?

my pc just restarted itself after 12 minutes during 300 seconds sleeping test🙁
During the RAM test? You might have some faulty RAM then...
