Thats not a rule at all. If you are referencing the MSWGI post from before the game that was made by an individual without consulting with the other Cadre or Josh/Brian themselves. That has never been a rule and probably never be.

@@LukewarmHotdogWaterWhen did he say that? He specifically said no PKMs should be room clearing, but nothing about RPK16s or drum mags. I know, because I was specifically listening for it, given the FB bruhaha before the game.
@@tumortim666 I would assume because an RPK16 is just a regular 74 at heart, its not long like a usual RPK. All the advantages of an LMG class with none of the disadvantages. Same way the m27 isnt allowed as an LMG on NATO side
@@LukewarmHotdogWater not sure what game you were at man but Josh never said that during the safety brief. No drum mags on AKs sure but nothing about no drums on RPK16s. If that were true don’t you think all the cadre who enforce the TASCOP (and whatever Josh says) would have said something considering they were playing alongside the dudes with them?

I was at "The Darial Line" event back in September. Wanted to get out to this one but could not make it work. This coming year it will be at this venue or the other training facility in GA.

I thought the whole point of night vision was to see in the dark kind of defeats the purpose using white light handheld IR lights aren’t expensive either
The night portion was filmed on an IR converted Sony A7S3 loaned to me by the Dirty Civilian RUclips Channel for this event. Majority of the NATO guys in the night portion were running IR lights.
Why didn't they use a challenge and password?
at 8:20 wont that amount of light damage the NVG tubes???

Im not sure but the camera im using was IR converted so it definitely boost ambient lighting. Environment was much darker than this.
only if its looking directly at the source for an extended period of time. unless its like daytime.

That amount of light wouldn’t damage any tubes that I can think of off the top of my head. It surprised the hell out of me at first but once you start using NVG’s more you realize how much light you can use them in (i almost always have them on just above my eye line inside because things go from light to dark VERY quickly and your eyes don’t also always have time to adjust) and how much they can take. On that note definitely don’t shine lasers or white light into a tube lol

Were you running a camera with IR capability or just super high exposure? I thought the NATO guys were being tards running NVGs when you can see just fine but then I noticed those tac lights looked super bright and the glowsticks on their helmets appear white 🤣
Both I had a second camera loaned to me with IR capability. I didnt compensate for lighting as the sun rose during dawn. Day footage was on my personal Nikon Z6II. IR footage was on IR converted Sony A7s3.

Hard disagree. Lionclaw and Irene has been little more than a pickup game at a neat location for YEARS. The LC staff are all jokes who don't give two shits what the player base does once the money is collected.
Ive heard too many stories of Lion Claws trying to sabotage AOs from competing host. Also the footage Ive seen from Lion Claw events lately tell me they are not the top host anymore.
