Question: I will be going to two milsim west events, both in a forest environment. Should I have night vision or thermals is it necessary or will it still be ok without it? I have an old night vision monocular but it cant be mounted on a helmet or anything like that it's just handheld.

Night devices help alot. I'd say al.ost necessary especially in a woodland environment
