When you are turning the stones for Class D amps, then I would recommend to consider the Class D amps of the T+A 200 series you have the DAC 200 of. The monoblocks T+A M200 could be the peak of Class D amplifying at present. You are able to select between two damping factors (70 or 800) via button, thus you have the choice between two sound signatures in addition. I find these monoblocks very interesting. Would really like to watch your review of them 🙃
The heaven 11 is fantastic for the money. It’s more punchy, less transparent, and more about mid bass and impact. It has some noise at idle (from speakers) as mentioned in the review. The Gato has more power, a better internal DAC, and sounds cleaner as it doesn’t have any of the tube warmth (like the Billie). It has more of a smooth refined sound (gato). Remote is nicer with the Gato if that matters. The gato has more power on tap as well.
Steve...I picked up the other Demo Aavik U-150 from Next Level Hi Fi......What an amp... Thanks! Did you get a chance to hear it with the new Borresen X-3 speakers@ 11K....
Based on the review, seems like a "great" amp. "IMO", one thing is for sure (95%+++), if a person can't find an amplifier these days to suit personal taste & budget, it doesn't exist.
@@audiomacaudiomac5019 i know he did 😊 but just a little before that he said that he didn’t think 300-400 hours of burn-in, as suggested by various owners of the Gato, was not necessary… i was questioning his maths not burn-in 😅
@@RigVader Well to be fair, it's not an heirloom piece. It's a labor intensive case though, manufactured by expensive Danish workers first. Second, it's a digital "all-in-one" that lacks all HDMI connection, so it's already out-dated & there's no way to fix that. It's disposable. That's always the problem with all-in-ones. 🔈🔉🔊
@@TriAmpMyFi My integrated is $5400 but has not phono stage, streaming or digital inputs. It does have a tape loop and pre in and power out though 😃 Guess it will still be a great amp in 25 years, sure is now!
I own the Gato for 3 years now...I wouldn't change it for another Amp. Love it
I have listened to the aavik at home, and it was a big improvement over the Devialet expert pro i owned at the time. I now own the Gryphon Diablo 120
I own the Gato amp 150 the sound is sensational, warm and neutral.

How is it compared to a similar integrated AB amp like the Hegel h390?
Heard them both, the Hegel is leagues above.
@@kunkundalin THX Nadav.
Does the Gato double down to 1600 watts @ 2 ohms? Is it capable of handling a 2 ohm load?
The future is class D.
I own a Purifi based amp, and it is unbelievably smooth, powerful, punchy, sweet, and all that at any volume.
Unfortunately this isn't available in Australia. Thanks for the review anyway.
What about the Heaven Eleven Billie as "budget" Class D? Comparable?

Isn't the Billie amp more of a hybrid ? It has tubes in its preamp.
@@thebestoffools yes, as seen in my review : )

It looks nice and powerful. I like it without listening...
Thank
Does the Gato's DAC better than Eversolo DMP-A6's DAC?
Great review!
How would you compare this to the Naim Uniti Nova? I have the Nova and am really curious how this compares.
Extremely nice if I’m the first commentor😊
What kind of speakers would you pair it with ?

Yes, and I`m fine to be just the Second 🙂 🙂
if the power all in one from Naim is called atom thats the hirosima atom bomb
Yes, Today, class D can in cases, out "class" A and AB...
Keep dreaming
@@jackfalco5351 ohhh I’m not dreaming at all…. But guess you had to be at Axpona to know. Cheers.
22 lb.
There gotta be a cheaper way. Right? Enjoy the reviews but if I didn't have enough amps, it would be outta my price range. Even used.
Not enough digital inputs on this Gato.
dude, u run it in 24/7 for 2 weeks… 24x14=336 hours 😂 what do u mean u don’t believe in 300-400 hours of run-in???
Dude, he said burn-in was real at 7:23.

I stopped watching when he said $4200.00.
Don't buy it.
We're being conned by these rip off prodcuts.
Let it sit on the shelf and then get recycled.
What makes it a ripoff?
4200 is a bargain for a Gato integrated. Stop being so cheap.
Why do people like you even watch these videos, or do you just troll the comment sections?

Commercial commercial commercial!
Not end game. 😂😂😂
All competent DACs sound the same.
They don't sound the same
All Chinese dac’s sound the same
All competent humans sound the same?
Not true.
I disagree. I have several DACs, and timbre, and soundstage differs between them.
Awful design
In ur opinion maybe breifly state why the ur comment is useful
