    So much in this video. Absolutely beautiful. Such charming houses. And cant believe you attempted all those steps to the fire tower into an electrical storm. Phew. Glad you made it back safely. I really loved all the beautiful scenery. How wonderful it would be to live in one of those charming houses.

    I'm not sure how I missed this video, but glad I went back and skimmed through the videos. I some how skipped a few videos catching up to the present. We love Lanesboro. We got married at a Bed n Breakfast just outside of town there in the country. It was beautiful, over looking the rolling hills. My parents and siblings had rented out the Motel at the Eagle Cliff campground for the weekend of our wedding. Now that's a busy campground. Lanesboro is a very touristic town and is very busy during the summer time for sure. That area brings tons of tubbing, canoeing, kayaking, and biking. Neither of us are from that area, but it was just a beautiful area for a fall wedding. It was fun to see you zooming around the town on the bike there. Love it. P.S. Glad you didn't keep going to the top of the tower in the storm :)

    Loved the video! Reminds me of the little town of Fergus Falls. I had friends take me for my first taste of ice fishing on Pelican Lake (where grumpy old men was filmed!) For a southern boy, being able to stand on a frozen lake was a treat! Being able to drive a loaded Suburban with 3 big ole burly dudes like me full of gear was........well, you get the idea. They all nicknamed me Arky since I was from Arkansas. They loved my southern drawl as much as I got a kick out of their Norwegian weird talk😂! And yes they carried me to walk across the Mississippi river at Lake Itasca. I still have my life and time spent there in pictures for my eyes and memories to warm my heart! Be kind, be honest-see ya down the road!

    Good weekend. One of those older videos that was suggested to me. You drove a long way from home. Interstate Park always seemed exotic to me when I was a kid. We would drive up through Stillwater to Taylor's Falls and I would see all these people climbing on the rock outcrops along the road. The area down around Laneboro and Preston is pleasant- almost evokes a New England vibe. When I was younger I acquired some DNR maps for Richard Dorer Forest that is around that part of Minnesota and did some exploring. I think I ended up taking my mountain bike to the Isinours unit and camping in a pine plantation when a possum nonchalantly strolled by my camp.

      One crazy thing about my travels, I never make plans. Things and places just happen. What you see on my videos is what falls in my lap that day. It has been working out real well.
      The only troubles I've had with finding a place to park for the night was in Iowa. I did not get into the altercation with the State Park Official on video out of respect for him. He may have been having a bad day and I did not want to show it without him having a chance to respond.
      Otherwise all my travels have been great! I'm glad I recorded this summer, my kids and I will always have the videos to look back on.
      Hopefully I can continue the weekly videos all through winter.

    Hi Kenny, I couldn’t find if you mentioned this in your other videos but it looks like you have a Rad mini 4 ebike right? Are you happy with that (range, durability etc…)? And it doesn’t take up too much space behind the passenger seat right? I have a f-350 super cab. I’m also thinking of fabricating a seat to make it for 2 people. Do you think it could handle about 300 lbs without trouble?

    • @KennyOfAllTrades
      @KennyOfAllTrades  2 года назад +1

      I LOVE my Rad Mini!!! I have put a lot of miles on that bike. It makes an appearance in a lot of my videos. It is no longer stock, but not because it wouldn't perform well. When I first received the bike, I was happy with the performance. I weigh about 250 to 260 pounds. It handles my weight easily. I think you will be ok carrying 300 pounds. Stock the bike would last a little over 25 miles and go about 21mph. However, there are so many variables when it comes to battery life. The bike now goes about 30mph and has a range of about 38 miles.
      I am the type of person who cannot leave anything stock. I have upgraded the motor to a true 750 watt unit along with a more powerful controller and screen. I also upgraded the battery to a 52 volt unit with more amp hours. I'm thinking about buying another Rad for my girlfriend, I will leave hers stock. I have had zero issues with the bike over the last 1000 miles. If you watch the playlist titled "summer road trip" you will see I take the bike on all kinds of trails and its never had any issues. Thanks for the questions!
